Very easy to book and pay at hotel. Customer service was excellent. Called for a extra pillow and was brought to the room in 5 min. Breakfast was good just wish it would have lasted longer maybe from 6-11.

This is a great value for a very convenient Clear Lake location. The staff was very friendly, and our room was very nice.

Good location, free continental Bfast. Room comfortable.Restaurants and attractions nearby. No late checkout though.

First off, walking to the hotel lobby, the pool guys were standing around scratching their heads looking at a green pool and there was a sign later stating it was closed. then walking into the lobby, there were plastic tables in addition to the regular wooden tables. It looks like instead of replacing or adding the tables that look nice, they added cheap stuff. The carpet is worn and feels sticky underfoot. When I went into the room, it looked okay but definitely not as pictured in the photos online, very dark and uninviting. The duvet was very lumpy and the beds sag. There was barely enough room to walk around the beds and again not as pictured. The bathroom floor was very sticky so at the front desk I asked about another room since it did not appear very clean and was told they did not have any other rooms except one on the first floor. She said it in such a manner as to make me think I would not want that room so they sent someone to clean the floor. After the maid sprayed some stuff on the floor and wiped it, it was just as sticky so obviously what ever they are using is part of what is causing the sticky. I went to the store next door and purchased cleaner and cleaned it myself. Other than the carpet and bathroom tile being old and sticky, the rest of the bathroom was clean but in need of remodeling due to the amount of visible repairs already. I used the laundry facilities and was disgusted with the amount of sand in the washer and dryer. Someone obviously used this to wash beach items and did not clean it out. When I told a maid about it, she said she would speak to someone but I ended up having to clean out the dryer myself before I could use it. This place definitely needs updating and remodeling but it is only a two star but charges at a three star rate. I would not stay here again. I will pay a small amount more and stay at a better hotel in the area.

The Microtel is one that we stay at annually for a conference, but this trip was a weekend get-away for my wife and I and were happy with the service and amenities .

We stayed in the Houston area 2 extra days after returning from a cruise. The Microtel was not a nice place to stay. Upon check the desk clerk said that there was new ownership and that a lot of upgrade had been done, apparently not is our room. The paint and carpet were tired and worn and not current. The staff messed the record keeping so that we get a call in the early morning waking us up. The desk clerk stated that they were not sure if our room was occupied or not and wanted to know if our room needed to be cleaned. We advised that it would need to be cleaned, but after we woke up and left for the day. We come back in the evening and the room was not cleaned.

Price was great, hotel has newer furnishings, the room was very clean, though a little small. The walls are paper thin, so you can hear everything going on outside of your room- I even got woken up by the tv in the next room when it came on at 5 am. You can also hear the cleaning ladies knocking on everyone's doors in the morning if you are trying to sleep in longer. Bed kind of caved in the middle with 2 ppl on it. Overall, it was good- I prefer the comfort of a new & clean place over thicker walls.

Location was great rooms were size of shoebox.no bedspread.I should have known since name of hotel had micro in the name

No coffee, clock, microwave, iron or ironing board in room. Wash room, coffee pot and microwave downstairs by office. Included breakfast offered few options. They did have an elevator to rooms. Another motel offered much more for a few dollars more but, if all you want is a place to crash, I guess it's your choice. the room, though small, was clean and the staff was personable.

had a handicap room very small asked to be moved to a bigger room but all were booked and no one lets us know if one ever became available service was good

Just fine if you only need a place to sleep. Remodel is not as good as the pictures make it look.

this motel would have been great had the plumbing worked and the staff been more responsive. The toilet would not flush properly on our first of two nights and when we went out the next day we were told the maintenance staff would fix it. We returned to find the same issue and the desk person came up with a plunger to "fix" it. She claimed it was fixed, but it never flushed properly. We were told we could not get into a different room because there were "no rooms available at our reservation level". The next morning early it finally overflowed. Again, all we wanted was a different room and were denied, instead having to wait for it to be cleaned up so we could shower and leave.

The hotel is located right across NASA Space center and less than 15 minutes from Kemah Boardwalk. Made the trip really enjoyable as we did not need to drive all around town looking for anything. The hotel staff were pleasant and courteous. The room was prety nice and clean

Everything was great except the walls are very thin, so anytime someone would get out of bed and walk across the room it sounded like they were stomping. Apart from that VERY good!

Our experience was wonderful. Location was GREAT! Room was clean and staff was pleasant. Check in was not until 3pm, but I was allowed to check in sooner since the room was available and ready. The continental breakfast was a great variety. My husband and I would stay at this hotel. For the price you couldn't ask for better! I was pleased.

The staff is very nice and the hotel was perfect for the location so was the price

EVERYTHING WAS FINE, THE STAFF TRIED THEIR BEST TO MAKE IT CLEAN IN THE BREAKFEST AREA, FOOD WAS OK, NOT SPECIAL BUT EDIEBLE. OUR PROBLEM WAS THE NEXT ROOM OVER; MICRO -TEL HAS MICRO WALLS.. THE COUPLE NEXT ROOM CRIED ALL NITE AND COMPLAIN; THE GUY WAS MARRIED AND NOT LEAVING HIS WIFE. TOO MUCH DRAMA IN THE MID OF THE NITE.

We stayed here for 2 nights and both nights the fire alamarms went off a few times in the middle of the night. So not only did it freak us out and made us wide awake we had a child with us. We called the front desk and said they were aware of it. If you are aware of it get it fixed NOT COOL

If you want a luxury hotel, you'll be disappointed. If you want a clean place to stay that isn't in the middle of nowhere, this hotel is a pretty good choice. Well worth the price tag and a great value.

It is clean and safe. If your doing anything at NASA SpaceCenter the location is perfect. Great value.
