The rooms are looking old. Updates needed for a motel so close to NASA JSC.

This property is infested with roaches. I had to relocate. When I advised the front desk of the infestation, thete was no compensation granted. No apology given. Nothing. Thus is a horrible facility.

This hotel was very close to a lot of attractions.

We loved the location and the property was clean, neat and affordable. I wish there had been an exercise facility and the staff was very nice but there needed to be more employees supporting the early morning breakfast and check out time period.

Pros: Met all expectations for economical lodging. Clean, but shows normal wear. Staff responsive & extremely helpful, i.e. searched storage for fan for me. Breakfast good, waffles great! Comfortable queen suite, except for end table/coffee stand right in front of bar sink. Directly across from Space Center Houston and 45 mins from Gaveston and Houston museum district. Cons: issues with reservation change from 1 night to 2 not made and told me "booked" 2nd night instead of offering a different type of room. Had to call reservation line&insist on being given a room available for both nights (queen suite in place of queen room). Don't make reservations directly w/ property! Be aware that they put a hold on your credit card for reservation. Young women in front of me didn't have sufficient credit= hold+room charge.

We did not even get to stay there. We had a reservation and the hotel sold our room before we got there. Very unsatisfied with Orbitz and Microtel.

Staff is nice, super cozy, clean, close to everything, loved it!

There were roaches on the first night so we cancelled the remainder of our reservation. I would not recommend this hotel.

We had a very nice experience. Staff were friendly and efficient, everything was very clean, the beds were super comfy, water pressure was good, water got very hot, AC was very cold, breakfast included hot and cold items with really good (and plentiful) coffee...something for everyone. An extra nice feature was the fruit infused water available in the lobby. Thanks for a very nice stay!

Doors to cabinets were falling off. The toilet was running. Te air in the room was damp. Noisy. The few outlets were too high to really be useful.

Very easy to book and pay at hotel. Customer service was excellent. Called for a extra pillow and was brought to the room in 5 min. Breakfast was good just wish it would have lasted longer maybe from 6-11.

This is a great value for a very convenient Clear Lake location. The staff was very friendly, and our room was very nice.

Good location, free continental Bfast. Room comfortable.Restaurants and attractions nearby. No late checkout though.

First off, walking to the hotel lobby, the pool guys were standing around scratching their heads looking at a green pool and there was a sign later stating it was closed. then walking into the lobby, there were plastic tables in addition to the regular wooden tables. It looks like instead of replacing or adding the tables that look nice, they added cheap stuff. The carpet is worn and feels sticky underfoot. When I went into the room, it looked okay but definitely not as pictured in the photos online, very dark and uninviting. The duvet was very lumpy and the beds sag. There was barely enough room to walk around the beds and again not as pictured. The bathroom floor was very sticky so at the front desk I asked about another room since it did not appear very clean and was told they did not have any other rooms except one on the first floor. She said it in such a manner as to make me think I would not want that room so they sent someone to clean the floor. After the maid sprayed some stuff on the floor and wiped it, it was just as sticky so obviously what ever they are using is part of what is causing the sticky. I went to the store next door and purchased cleaner and cleaned it myself. Other than the carpet and bathroom tile being old and sticky, the rest of the bathroom was clean but in need of remodeling due to the amount of visible repairs already. I used the laundry facilities and was disgusted with the amount of sand in the washer and dryer. Someone obviously used this to wash beach items and did not clean it out. When I told a maid about it, she said she would speak to someone but I ended up having to clean out the dryer myself before I could use it. This place definitely needs updating and remodeling but it is only a two star but charges at a three star rate. I would not stay here again. I will pay a small amount more and stay at a better hotel in the area.

The Microtel is one that we stay at annually for a conference, but this trip was a weekend get-away for my wife and I and were happy with the service and amenities .

We stayed in the Houston area 2 extra days after returning from a cruise. The Microtel was not a nice place to stay. Upon check the desk clerk said that there was new ownership and that a lot of upgrade had been done, apparently not is our room. The paint and carpet were tired and worn and not current. The staff messed the record keeping so that we get a call in the early morning waking us up. The desk clerk stated that they were not sure if our room was occupied or not and wanted to know if our room needed to be cleaned. We advised that it would need to be cleaned, but after we woke up and left for the day. We come back in the evening and the room was not cleaned.

Price was great, hotel has newer furnishings, the room was very clean, though a little small. The walls are paper thin, so you can hear everything going on outside of your room- I even got woken up by the tv in the next room when it came on at 5 am. You can also hear the cleaning ladies knocking on everyone's doors in the morning if you are trying to sleep in longer. Bed kind of caved in the middle with 2 ppl on it. Overall, it was good- I prefer the comfort of a new & clean place over thicker walls.

Location was great rooms were size of shoebox.no bedspread.I should have known since name of hotel had micro in the name

No coffee, clock, microwave, iron or ironing board in room. Wash room, coffee pot and microwave downstairs by office. Included breakfast offered few options. They did have an elevator to rooms. Another motel offered much more for a few dollars more but, if all you want is a place to crash, I guess it's your choice. the room, though small, was clean and the staff was personable.
