The owner has terrible customer service skills. We had a slew of issues with this house, and the owner, instead of giving the benefit of the doubt and trying to make it right, began accusing our group of lying, faking conversations, causing the mess, “cussing at him”, etc. My group was not even there for 30 minutes before contacting him to let him know the state of the house. The mess in that house could not have been achieved in 30 minutes! He threatens with “I’m a lawyer. I’ll see you in court.” instead of just trying to make it right considering what it costs to stay per night. I - the one who made the original booking - was nothing but respectful to him, to which I was met with a rude, accusatory and condescending response. I have never had an experience with a VRBO booking like this one. There is SO much more to say about this, but I’ll just hit the high points and be done with it. If you decide to book this house, be okay with location and what usually comes with that.
