If your goal is to be near NRG stadium in an average property then this is fine. No bells and whistles very basic, but accommodating.
Noisy neighbor, had to call front desk. You have hundreds of rooms, why don’t you skip one room to avoid this problem.

It took a very long time to check in - perhaps 30-40 mins of just standing there. There was no apology for the wait. There should have been a back up front desk agent to help with the check-in process. Additionally, the ACs in the hallways on our floor were not working so they had random fans blowing hot air. In this Texas heat, all ACs in a hotel should be working. At checkout, there was a lady who literally mopped our feet as she was mopping the lobby. Literally 2/10 for the stay.

The rooms are clean and very nice with a friendly staff that make you feel welcome.
When I got up in the morning to take a shower, there was no cold water. The water coming out of BOTH the hot and cold taps in BOTH the sink and the shower were VERY hot. I ran the cold tap in the sink for about a half hour before it cooled down to about normal. In the shower, I NEVER got any cool water. On the coldest setting in the shower / bath I was able to get water that was just cool enough for a soaking bath. I would have preferred a shower, but that would have been scalding. My suspicion is that to this room, the hot and cold water pipes run very close together so that the hot water pipe heats the water in the cold water pipe.
Overnight stay for medical appointment early the next morning. Will have to contact hotel about charges on the credit card that we put up for incidental’s because the room was paid for through Orbitz and we bought nothing at the hotel.
Property had better value and higher ratings than others I considered.
