Awful maintenance of the building. The rooms were dirty. I asked the hotel manager to switch me to another room as the first had a very strong cigar smell. The bed was poorly made and towels seemed used. I had booked online and had just made a very long bus trip before having to get up at 3:30am to catch a flight so I had no choice to stay at a different place to only sleep a few hours.
Close to Airport and rental car pickup. Clean comfortable room. Cable tv and available wifi. Clean comfortable bed. Got a good night's sleep after a tough travel day. Friendly helpful staff. Next time I'm in Houston, I'll stay here.
Made reservation partly because posting on Orbits site stated fee airport shuttle. When called from airport for shuttle pickup was told they no longer offer this service.
Not a clean hotel, tv not working and very noisy. Not a good place to stay.

Staying at the Airway Inn was a great experience for me. I have no kids and only stayed one night but i am in houston often. The rooms were very pretty especially for the price. If you can take a diverse crowd of people this might actually be the best motel in houston and its super close to the airport which is always a win. Not much of a scenery but hey, u cant have it all. I give this place 4 stars for houston motels.

Light bulbs all working would be nice. The wardrobe rack was also missing
The hotel is okay for the price, breakfast is continental all cold cereal juice coffee and bread. However, there are some room that need better clean up, dusting, and clean spider web in walls. Also refrigerator need to repair, it make strong noises that doesn't allow to sleep.
The persons who attend the front desk are so nice and polite.

It was a Perfect match! We got out of IAH Airport by 12:30am and called a Taxi to take us to the Airway Inn and Checked In and Slept for 5hrs untill we had to Take the AIRWAY INN Shuttle back to the Airport which was Free of Charge! If we would heve Arrived between 4:00:-10:00 pm or 4:00-10am we could have taken the Shuttle From the Airport to the Airway Inn! Thank You!

Rooms were clean but had smoke smell which was the only thing I did not like. Otherwise hotel room was Chen and staff was friendly.
At first, this place looked okay from other reviews as a place to spend the night when I was just looking for a restful place neat the airport. What a mistake to book a night with them! Walking in the room I immediately noticed the strong odor of industrial disinfectants so I wanted to be able to see what's going on. However, with really poor lighting (a couple of weak lights and some lights that don't even work) it was hard to see. Walking in the bathroom I almost cut my hand on the jagged pieces of metal protruding from the wall and I immediately saw that the toilet seat doesn't fit on the toilet(the idiots tried to put a round toilet seat on an elongated toilet) and it's not even attached to the toilet. Both of these are unacceptable and dangers for any guest. I immediately called the front desk about these issues and the front desk lady sounded like this is ordinary course of business stuff for them. She said she wasn't able to send anyone immediately to fix these issues and she refused to put me in a different room. I was tired from traveling so I took a nap and then got up to get some work done. By night time, since none of these issues were addressed, I went down to the front desk to tell them that my experience with them is so bad that I'm actually going to check out before I even spend the night. It is only then that they offered to put me in a different room, which I refused. Their general manager Garut(?) was unapologetic and argumentative.
