This is an older hotel, not for the person that needs the Hyatt. Rooms are big, kitchen is great, veranda was huge. We love this place for the price an awesome value. But repeat, Vintage Hotel.

Although the property is older, it’s maintained very well. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was spacious and very clean. We would definitely stay there again.

The pool closes to early

So per close to everything

The property is very old. But that why it cost half as other places. I cant complain because in this case you get what you pay for. The staff were nice and helpful.

In town

Unbelievably loud. 7am the doors start slamming. People going up and down the hallways. It wouldn't be so annoying except, oh wait get this, the doors have 2 foot by 3 foot openings which essentially means you can hear everything from every room on the entire floor

Friendly staff and right by the Pacific ocean! Price is right (low price for Waikiki)

It’s ok

Very close to the beach and the bus stop, employees are super helpful and friendly.

Problem with bathroom.

Room was adequate. Fair price. Although there is information and signs say cleaning was increased due to covid, it was difficult to believe. Top of bathroom light filthy, air vent in bathroom covered with dust balls. Staff were friendly. But there are too many things wrong to stay there again. Could be a great representation of the “old” Hawaii. But it isn’t.

close to beach

It was dirty, trash everywhere. Pool was empty and just disgusting. Rooms has lights shining in them all night. Room was not secure. The front desk lady was extremly polite but it was still a nasty place.

This place is worst than a Motel on a highway. I booked this hotel looking at the pictures that they carefully posted on orbitz which looked decent enough for a hotel to spend a night with the family and the price was decent. When I got there to check in, I saw that the hotel was dirty, the check in desk looked old and broken. I could hear people screaming and yelling in the building next to the check in area. The lady checked us in and handed us a key on a big key ring, the type you get at gas station to use an outside restroom. I haven't used an actual key to enter a hotel room in a long time. The elevator to go into the room was dirty and smelly. We got to the room and soon as we entered it smelled horrible. My wife and kids immediately wanted to run out. Not to mention we saw multiple hair on the beds and pillows. Needless to say, we walked out of the room and checked out immediately. I ended up walking down a few blocks to an actual hotel and booked the room to spend the night. Lesson learned, don’t believe the pictures and book a reputable hotel by paying a little more. It will save you a lot of time and hassle. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Was not allowed to check in with bank cards birth certificate and medical record and because only have debit. Card was not allowed to stay there no cash or debit card for deposi
