Not a good experience at all. They werent fair in their refund policy.

I have stayed at this hotel before and it was just as good as it was last time. The location, price and facilities are wonderful. The only fault (and it is a very slight fault at that) is that the lighting in the rooms could be slightly brighter. I would definitely stay here a third time.

Wonderful hotel staffs ! Great services and the breakfast is delicious ! Great location !

The service, price, cleanliness, history, and overall feel of the hotel was perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Saigon.

GREAT, AND THE ROOF IS GREAT !! ROOM WAS FINE AND RATE IS FAIR !

Enjoyed my stay, hotel staff is polite. Breakfast is good

Excellent location, staff is very professional. We enjoyed our stay very much.

I thought the room and hotel was very nice. I stayed in one of the governors suites and was very happy with the experience including the buffet breakfast.

Great location and the rooftop pool is a wonderful place to relax. The food is great and highly recommend it

Really enjoyed my stay at Rex and the staff are very helpful. It's an old hotel but the rooms are very nice and clean and the staff are always very helpful. The Vietnamese have an amazing culture and are very friendly and the hotel staff have made this into an art. The breakfast is unbelievable in terms of variety and choice, you will love it very much. Doesn't have time to enjoy the pool and gym but you will love it.

The Rex is the only place to stay when in Ho Chi Minh as far as I'm concerned. A five star hotel at an excellent value. The staff, accommodations and amenities are all superb. The breakfast buffet, should one choose to sample just some of the many delicious dishes offered, will keep you full until dinner. Best location in the center of District One, center of the city. Highly recommended.

Totally satisfied, no comments. Great services. Staff friendly, politely, respectfully...

I've stayed at the Rex several times in the past. I like it's history (gathering place for journalists and military officials during the Vietnam War... I was one of many). I really don't like what they've done to the lobby or the filling up the space with all the high-dollar name brand stores, nor did I like spending almost $5.00 for a bottle of water. It was a nice property before all that. Anyway, great place to stay.

Hotel is very good, great quality and value for the money.

Great value for money and accommodating staff. Will stay here again!

The Rex is a special hotel with its history and old world charm. It is not as fancy or glitzy as some newer properties but it is unique. The fact that it not an international chain but that is run by Vietnamese helps make it unique. The rooms are quite comfortable with a nice bathroom and a comfortable bed. The breakfast was very good with the noodle station being fantastic. The gym was nice although the locker room is a bit dated. The service was excellent. The only negative is that the construction of the new subway is happening right in front of the hotel.

food is excellent, and the service is very good too, but outside street is a mass, the street is bolocking every where due to transit project

Room was small but quiet, comfortable, and had a courtyard view. Because of noise from the subway under construction, we had breakfast in the dining room instead of out on the rooftop terrace, but for us this was a minor thing. Every place we wanted to see in the city was within walking distance.

I spent 3 days here after 4 days at the beach in Mui Ne, it was a great respite from the hustle and bustle of Saigon.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They all spoke English so language wasn't an issue. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The tours provided by the hotel are excellent though a little pricey. The tour guide was very knowledgeable of the history and information on all aspects of Vietnam. The driver was very careful and drove us safely to our destinations. Great experience!
