+ Clean and spacious room. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bedding. - Poor bath tub design, after every shower, my friend managed to get the bath floor wet (that's an understatement - flooded would be a better word to describe it). No full length mirror. The hot food from the buffet breakfast were mainly cold.
This hotel has great staff, very professional and well trained to handle customers from around the world. The rooms were tidy, housekeeping excellent and the hotel location in District 1 was great to get around.
This hotel was clean, had good service, excellent breakfast buffet, rooftop pool/ bar, and a central location to walk to all the sites of downtown. The surrounding area felt safe as well. You are about a 15 min walk to the city center with shopping, entertainment, food, etc., however even on the same block were good places to eat and/ or get massages! We were able to plan excursions from the hotel concierge too.
- Room: Very large and clean. Lacking decor? Seemed a bit empty. - Service: Everyone was kind, helpful, and spoke great English. A bit standoff-ish compared to other people we encountered in North and Central Vietnam. Maybe it's a Southern thing? - Location: Perfect! This is the main reason we stayed at Paragon. Walking distance of all the main attractions of District 1!
A year ago,We had the opportunity to travel in Vietnam and stayed at Paragon. Just a few minutes by walk, U can go to Opera House, shopping center, Notre Dame Basilica.... The room that we stayed just is small but it really comfortable and clean. We saw the batender guy with name is Ken. He made delicious drinks and the coffee with milk according vietnam style so good. He is funny and condescending. If have a chance,we will come back again. :)
This hotel is in a a fabulous central location, 3 minutes walk to Vincom, the Opera House and the main tourist area. Team members are more than happy to help, always smiling and saying hello. The hotel is really clean (this is massive for us) we couldn't fault anything in that department. Try the spa, make sure you have a swim after dark and a cocktail in the bar upstairs in the big sofa leather armchairs overlooking the city lights.
Very nice, clean, pleasant hotel. Helpful staff. Smallish but adequate rooms. Great location for wandering. Cool rooftop pool. One caveat - completely non-handicap accessible. Those steep front stairs are definitely not handicap friendly!
I came to Saigon 2 months ago. Stayed a double room with my friend, a bit noisy because an accident of traffic. We met a house-keeper Mr. Huynh, who cleaned our room many times, very clean, and he is really friendly, kind with us, always smile. I love all staffs of Paragon. We definately comeback again !
We stayed three nights in this hotrel in feb17. By and large , we had no complaints & would stay there again. It has a impressive facade& easy approach. Reception area is congenial & staff very warm & friendly. When we arrived , the room was not ready So we went out for a while & the management upgraded our room to Premium to compensate for the inconvenience. Nice of them! Room service was generally good except for one instance when our order was delivered some where else, essentially a communication problem We were provided ice when required & also milk for our tea. Room had all that you need & normally provided in a 4 Star property. Bathroom was comfortable with necessary toiletteries. The funny part was a see thru glass between the room & bathroom with no blind /shutter control in the bathroom. This was a feature we were to come across in many other hotels in Vietnam. A special American requirement of the bye-gone era , I suppose ! Restaurant was well laid out & breakfast was good , with variety of fruits , cheese , cake, bread eggs to order & coffee / tea of your choice . They have a nice bar on the top floor with lovely view of the town. I must alsomention the Piano recital which is a daily evening feature in the foyer , adding extra value to this Hotel!
We were a family of 4 travelling up to Hanoi and The Paragon Hotel was our first port of call for 2 x nights. This was the most expensive hotel of our 12 nights in various hotels that we had pre booked, and although it was booked as a family room via Expedia, we were charged an extra guest fee of £14.06 on top of the £69.85, so not particularly cheap in a country where accommodation is plentiful and keenly priced. Our room had 2 x Queen beds, was a good size, clean and comfortable with a decent shower/bathroom and complimentary toiletries. Always glad to see a kettle with tea and coffee provided, which there was too. One thing to note however was the A/C unit made a right racket & had to be switched off so we could all get some sleep. The breakfast included in our 'deal' was excellent & had good choice of items. The swimming pool on the roof was small but adequate for the kids to cool off in after a day of sightseeing whilst we had drinks bought to us on the seating area. A special mention must go to Ms Anna (@Hoang Dung), who was on the Paragon Tour Desk (@Asiana Link Travel), she was extremely helpful and went the extra mile for us, booking us onto 2 x excellent tours - a private tour of the Chu Chi tunnels (don't underestimate the nearly 2hr journey to get there), and then the Halong Bay overnight (at the end of our trip) on the L'Azalee Cruise ship, a small ship with only 18 passengers, as opposed to the larger boats of 70+ passengers. 2nd mention is for all the lovely ladies in the Health & Beauty spa, where we took advantage of wonderful hot stone massages, manicures and pedicures - a must do if you stay here. All in this was a good choice and well located.
