Great location, quiet, very clean up to date decor, most friendliest helpful staff, great selection for breakfast, sets you up well for the day. You must experience local food exquisite, the Mekong river cruise a must. Cu Chi tunnels very sobering as to what happened in the Vietnam war. Didn't really know much about Vietnams history, I know a little more with this visit, amazing industrious, resilient people.
Very good professional staff from reception to dining room. Like the olde world charm of the hotel. Above all I want to thank dining room staff Vuong Thu Nguyet who is so helpful to my wife's enquiries. Help beyond expectations.
Located close to center within walking distance ,very clean bedroom and bathroom no musty smell, air conditioner works great, no noise, staff pleasant, one of the best breakfast buffet I have experience serving hot & cold Asian & Western food Norman Vancouver Canada
This hotel went way beyond my expectations from looking at its website. As soon as we pulled up out the front I was completely raskem with the beautiful foyer. The Doorman welcomed us warmly and a drink was quickly recieved. It was quite late whedn we arrived but the friendly staff were still very helpful and welcoming. We got to our room which was also above expectation. The breakfast served daily gave manu choices and again the service was on point. The wifi worked excellent and the rooftop bar and pool were a fantastic place to chill out in. The location is perfect! So close to everything while still being just enough away from the hustle and bustle (one block.) I would gladly reccommend this hotel and will hopefully get back again one day.
We had a fantastic stay at the Paragon, it was wonderful, the staff spoke excellent english and were always incredibly friendly and helpful. Staff would get a taxi for you and speak with the taxi driver, also help to re-arrange restaurant bookings at other restaurants. The breakfast was great and the staff went out of their way to ensure that your needs were met and if you asked for something that was not on offer they would try their best to accomodate your request. The room we had was very spacious and well decorated. The pool was fantastic, maybe a little on the small side but really great. The view from the pool is wonderful. The hotel is walking distance to the Opera House and the city, it is in a great central location. All in all we had an an amazing stay and I would recommend the hotel to my family and friends.
First the good - great location and breakfast, lots of English language TV channels. Second the bad - everything else. Our room looked very little like ANY of the rooms shown on their website. While our room was large enough the double bed was crammed up just 6 inches from the window/wall into the bathroom. Said wall was covered with some cheesy blinds that were controlled from the outside the bathroom such that a roommate can look in at will. Also, the water in the shower pulsed warm and cold but if you got the timing down you could jump in and out of the flow. There was not even a sitting chair in the room, just a bench against the wall that was an obvious place to put a suitcase but not to sit. As pointed out by others, the bed was as hard as a rock and would have benefited greatly from a mattress pad. Worse, however, was that in our 11th floor room we could hear the CONSTANT music from the creepy 12th floor McQueen bar. The website describes it as a jazz bar that opens at 10AM. Well I can tell you that last Saturday morning it was a dance bar that opened at 8AM! Wishing to sleep in a bit I walked up at about 8:30AM to see what the heck was going on and I found the place completely empty except for what appeared to be a teenage female employee blasting horrible music. I wouldn't stay here again if they were giving the rooms away.
Found the staff here unhelpful and their English seemed to be very bad. Everywhere else we stayed in Vietnam, people could not do enough for us, but the attitude was very different in this hotel. Hard and uncomfortable beds, small rooms, no view of any kind. Food and drinks were really expensive and everything the hotel offered seemed to be at an additional cost, eg sauna and steam room had to pay extra. Wouldn't stay here again.
Love the air of the bar and the nicest, friendliest staffs. A full and professional bar with all professional bartenders. Me and my friends have been here twice and we were both served by a very nice bartender, Hai Vu. He's such a cool man and professional. My friend got her drink as usual, I cant drink alcohol so Hai made me a Margarita mock-tail which I love it the most since I've tried the same thing in every other places from US to EU and Asia. Great!!! Thank you for recruiting the best bartender ever! I would definitely back to this place whenever I'm back to VN. Thank you!
We spent a few nights here and really like it. Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was good and the staff were quite friendly. Pool area was pretty cool. Would definitely stay here again. There is construction going on next door so try to book a room on the opposite side.
On arrival very nice, Staff very helpful, Room dated & dark but clean. But give this street a miss for a while as the construction across the street is operating 24 hours a day & very noisy of an evening & all through the night. I do note the noise is not the fault of this hotel, all booking agents should be aware of the noise.
