The hotel is ideally located in District 1 very near Ben Thanh Market .The staff were charming & we were greeted with a glass of orange squash on arrival which took me right back to my childhood. Our rooms faced the well which suited us fine as they were very well appointed for the price of $243 for 2 rooms for 2 nights. Didn't have the view but didnt hearthe contant sounding of car & bike horns. Breakfast was pretty comprehensive although the western breakfast section had bacon that could've been used to sole shoes. The bedrooms were well appointed for the price & everything worked. Lovely bathroom. No hesitation staying here again.
We booked this hotel on our honeymoon primarily because of its location, and it did not disappoint. Paradise Saigon is situated perfectly, with most of the city's sights, including the War Remnants Museum and Ben Thanh market just a short walk away. (Also, top tip, cross the road to Banh Mi Huang Hoa for some of the best banh mi this side of the world). The hotel was comfortable; we opted for a premier deluxe city view room without a tub, which actually gave us more room. The shower was great with perfect water pressure. The bed was a bit odd – the double bed we'd asked for turned out to be two single beds smooshed together, which meant one of us was always falling into the crack – not really honeymoon fodder. The only major complaint we had with the hotel was that our room was at the head of the stairs, right across from the staff room and every morning, without fail, we were woken up by the sound of the operations manager berating someone really loudly. Other times, it seemed like a regular party was raging in the staff room. It gets pretty loud and there's little soundproofing in the room, so it does sound like they're standing right by your bed and yelling. There's also no soundproofing between the bathroom and the bedroom, so after about two days of eating street food, you're creating different kinds of symphonies in the loo that you don't necessarily want even your partner listening in to. But most of this was forgiven, because location.
I stayed for four nights on business. The hotel in centrally located in District 1 and easily reached by taxi or on foot to the downtown part of Ho Chi Minh City 920 minutes walk to Notre Dame). I booked a deluxe room which was slightly more spacious than the regular rooms and offered a large bath tub with shower rather than only a shower stall. The room was comfortable and offered tea and coffee making facilities and great air-conditioning. Daily room attendants cleaned the room and the complimentary Wi-Fi signal was strong enough for FaceTime, uploading files and photos. Housekeeping was a weaker area in that I found a lot of black hair on the floor upon arrival and since the water in the bathroom was not potable, the complimentary bottles of mineral water were not replenished daily so I ended up going out to buy my own water. The toilet roll holder was broken and on one service my bath floor mat was removed but not replaced. Water leaked from the bathroom ceiling over the bath after heavy rains, which left a lot of water on the floor. I ate breakfast daily in the top floor restaurant which offers a great view, The breakfast buffet was excellent, offered a wide variety of Western and Asian items of good quality. Egg dishes were cooked to order and delicious. My colleague and I ate there once for lunch and were the only guests present. The food was great and our waiter - Max - was very friendly and ensured we enjoyed our meal, which I appreciated. Front desk team were very willing to please and provided us with a map of the city, local restaurant information and the location of a local food grocery store. Certainly the doormen were always on hand to help with luggage and offer assistance. When I return to Ho Chi Minh City I would certainly stay here again as it was good value for money, comfortable and felt secure.
It's my third time at this hotel. Very conveniently located in district 1. Close to everything. Clean rooms, comfy bed n aircon. Decent breakfast spread n friendly staff. Over the years I've noticed drop in quality of house keeping service. They're not as good as they used to be. I hope the management will look into it and fix this issue. Overall a good boutique hotel. Will consider staying again in the future.
Stayed here with my friend and as soon as we walked in the hotel lobby smelt like sewage. We then were taken to our room which was nice. Then went to look at the jacuzzi and sauna... well the jacuzzi was empty and in repairs. We only book this hotel for the jacuzzi. Once we voiced this to the manager she laughed in our face instead of offering anything as reimbursement. Not very professional. The breakfast was the only nice thing. Not worth the money, go to alagon around the corner much better :) and has a pool
When we got to the hotel we thought we had a good room due to it saying deluxe room. Later finding out deluxe is a standard room. When we got to the room the door handle fell off. The shower door fell off and for 2 days the shower leaked onto the floor. The air con didn't work any good and the hotel just needs a good upgrade. The hotel has a fab location tho. Thanks.
Really enjoyed our 3 night stay in late April at Paradise Saigon Boutique Hotel. Good central location, 5 mins walk from Ben Thanh market, a sky bar and numerous dining options. Good variety of breakfast options with great vietnamese iced coffees at the 13th floor restaurant. All staff were great, especially the front desk staff were very helpful with suggested tours. Would stay again in Ho Chi Minh.
We here stayed 2 nights. Very good breakfast. Pick up service from Airport was spot on. Very good location to walk to the interesting places. Near Bin Than market. We will stay here again when in HCMC.
Great price for hotel and great location as it is close to Ben Thanh Market. Staff is friendly. Wifi is good. However, room is very small. I did enjoy the hot water and good water pressure. They had complimentary breakfast but I did not care for it much. 4 P's pizza is about a 5-7 minute walk, near the night market and I highly recommend it. Overall, not a bad hotel. In my opinion, they just need to improve the breakfast.
Very reasonable price , excellent location, 5 min walk from here to the Ben thanh market , and 20 min walk Nguyen hue st ( cafe apartment) , 30 min walk to central post office. Staff are helpful. Breakfast not bad. I dislike the design of toilet. Be careful, need to jump out after finish bath ... Any way , will stay in same hotel if visit the city again
