The team at Sleep Inn is stellar and they always take care of all my needs. It is very clean and quiet, several restaurants in walking distance and the morning breakfast is fantastic. I look forward to my next trip.
my stay was quiet & the room was clean; breakfast is not great, but it is typical hotel food. the movie theater is across the parking lot - you can walk to it, and Hooter's is at the other end of the parking lot. easy access. shopping close by.
Upon arrival the front desk agent, Ms. Alina greeted me cheerfully and made the check in process quick and easy. She was cheerful and enthusiastic about all my inquires. She represented the hotel well, with such a wonderful demeanor you can tell she loves her job. Hotel amenities were excellent, breakfast was hot and fresh. Highly recommended!!!
This hotel was very clean and was in a good location. Several restaurants and stores nearby. Was in town on business and would stay here again. Very friendly staff. While I was a little worried as a Sleep Inn is on the lower scale of Choice hotels, I was pleasantly surprised.
Great staff and clean rooms always friendly service with a smile one of the best hotels I have stayed at can always guarantee a great stay when I'm in town if every hotel was as good as this one I would never have a problem staying at a hotel again
This was an average, decent hotel. It looked nice and clean in the lobby and in the room. The girl at the desk was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Our room was big, beds were comfortable. It was very warm in our room and no matter how low the air was turned, it never got cool. The mini fridge was very loud and I eventually unplugged it. So, we didn't sleep very well. My brother in law's room smelled like smoke and they had no remote for their TV. Overall, for one night, it was ok, and suited our needs, but I would try somewhere else if I ever needed to spend the night in Hiram again.
Checked out one day early. I paid cash up front so when I checked out the lady said they will send me a check for the refund. Over 3 months later NO CHECK! I have called and left several voice mails for the GM and not once received a call back.
We were on the third floor and there was one floor above us. We heard every foot step from the people above us. They stayed up VERY late. Other than that the room was very clean and breakfast was good. Next time we will stay on the top floor.
Our room was clean and comfortable. Our nearly midnight check in was seamless. The sweet lady running the breakfast area was so nice and asked everyone if they had everything they needed...So staff went above and beyond. If you have 4 in a room, you will have to request additional towels..ours was set up for two people but we were able to get additional sets by going down ourselves to retrieve from the front desk. Breakfast was my only complaint. A different option for healthy protien would be great. Egg scramble made from something tasting like cardboard. Bananas were the only fruit option and overall it could use a bump up in offerings. But staff was awesome. Beds comfortable, plenty of pillows and very clean.
I stayed for one night, a Saturday, about a week ago and thought this hotel was clean and comfortable. I paid an AARP rate of 103/night (120 with tax), but if I had reserved farther in advance, the rate would've been somewhat cheaper. I took a lot of photos of our room and will include them with the review. We were on the 3rd floor, and our window faced the parking lot in front of the hotel. We heard no car/traffic noise. In fact, we heard no noise at all. The hotel was completely booked the night we were there, and we couldn't believe how quiet it was. They were short-handed in the housekeeping dept the day we arrived, and we were originally sent to a room that had not been cleaned. The housekeeper apologized and located a room for us that was ready for occupancy. He was very nice. When we went back downstairs to leave for our outing, a long line of people were waiting to check in and it seemed rather chaotic due to the lack of housekeepers. I'm sure this isn't always the case, but we were really glad we got there right at check-in time, ahead of all those other people. The free breakfast is your typical free breakfast at a small hotel. I don't complain about free food if it's of decent quality, and this was. The lady working in the eating area was very friendly. The location of the hotel is very convenient to restaurants. There are a LOT of them within a mile or so of the hotel. Our room had good amenities for the amount we paid-- coffeemaker, mini fridge, microwave, toiletries, etc. There were also charging ports for phones (both usb and electrical outlets) located on the bedside table. Very convenient. For a budget hotel, this was a good place to stay.
