I love Home2 Suites. This hotel was only 1 year old, so it was very clean, and the rooms were a great size. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We didn't get to use the pool, but we will return and use it.
People almost having sex and smoking marijuana by the pool with my 12 yr old there. It was her bday and she couldn't even enjoy the pool. Breakfast was awful! Not a good place for kids! Would never ever stay there again!
Even when I asked for a specific accessible room when I made my reservation, I did not get it. The staff had no idea which rooms in the facility were accessible, so they could not even move me to an appropriate room.
I have stayed in this hotel since they open. Sadly the housekeeping service quality is going bad. The kitchen area is not well maintained or clean, the floor tiles of that area looked pretty dirty. The hotel stated that on your 5th night , they will do a complete clean up, no, the same lousy cleaning. No water in the gym. The housekeeping server is a constant complain from other guests , it seems that they are not taking notes about it.
Make sure there is soap in your bathroom Should’ve called room service to feel them but didn't. Also parking lot is small if employees will Park on The side or back of building would be better ..........
Clean accommodations with friendly staff. Continental breakfast available daily. Comfortable outside patio. Well lit parking lot. Affordable laundry on site. Pool was nice and clean, however, in shade through most of afternoon hours.
Only complaint is options for breakfast. Don't care for prepackaged options, holiday inn express has better, freshly cooked breakfast and rooms at comparable rate. Other than that overall start was pleasant
This hotel looked like a great place to stay as it had good reviews and was in close proximity to Six Flags. Though the hotel common areas were clean and the staff was really friendly, our room was really dirty. The floors were filthy and the kitchen appliances were splattered with who knows what. We were only crashing for the night and then hauling out of there so I didn't ask to change rooms as that would have been a huge hassle. I give the staff a thumbs up but the cleanliness of the room was unacceptable for a new(er) hotel.
Upon arrival at 3pm I had to wait an hour before checking into our room. They didn't realize it was booked for the night and had to clean it because it was the only 1 King Bed room available. Apparently they don't have many of them. The cleaning lady had to rush and clean the room before her shift ended. After we checked in the floors still had crubs on them, pet hair on the sofa and a white substance on both the floor and couch. The TV was smeared and all needed to be cleaned again. They couldn't get the pet hair up or clean the white substance! Entrance into the hotel floors were sticky. I expected more from a Hilton brand Hotel. I understand this is more for families but the service could have been better.
Upon arrival, I noticed something brown on the wall behind the toilet paper roll. This disgusted me and caused me to use disinfectant wipes all over the room. The shower curtain was filthy and smelled strongly of perspiration. I reported the shower curtain, and it was fixed the next day. I have a small child, and we often do not leave the room until the early afternoon. We left around 12:30 on the first day, and the cleaning lady was still in the hall, so I apologized for leaving later and gave her our room number and told her we would be out for a while so she would be able to clean. We came back to an unclean room five hours later. The next day, we left around 1:30. This time I told the front desk, and she made a note. We came back three hours later to an unclean room. I requested the room be cleaned AGAIN and was told someone would be right up. By around 6 when my husband returned and still no one had come to clean the room, he also requested the room be cleaned. He was told the night housekeeper had called in sick and the frost desk worker was the only one working, but it would be handled. Side note that there is no one working security or maintenance or anything but the front desk at this hotel at night, which is a bit alarming and unlike most other Hilton properties where we have stayed. We went to dinner. Came back two hours later, and the room is STILL not cleaned. At this point, I hauled the trash and dirty towels to the front desk and also requested the correct bedding, as we had queen bedding on a king bed. The front desk person was very sweet and gave me towels and trash bags and another queen size insert for the bed. Ugh! We have an eight week contract in the area, and the concept of this hotel would have been perfect for us, and the staff are friendly, but we clearly will have to find another place to stay. Cleanliness is higher on the priority list than friendliness, especially when traveling with a toddler. Two stars for nice sized rooms and friendly staff.
