The only thing that was clean were the sheets on the bed! Even still the sheets were stained. The floors were nasty and smelled of mildew. The soap that was in the bathroom had been left and set back up like it was a new little bottle. The folks running the place said they were new and tried to be nice but it was obvious they didn't like me questioning their photo coping my license and debit card .I got home and found they had a double charged to my card and it was broken up into 5 charges! Walking around the grounds you could smell what smelt like pee everywhere and there was trash everywhere except the very front where there was a little grass. The people who worked there looked at you creepy and I did not feel safe at all. We stayed 2 nights ONLY because we had a pet. NEVER again! This burnt me for staying at any hotel that is choice hotels. I also developed a cold right after I got home and I never get sick! More than mad about it and never ever again!
Me and my family stayed for a week while on vacation the service was wonderful check in was easy and the room was quite nice no complaints great place for the price would definitely stay again when in the area
I thought the room was very nice. It looks like an old hotel but everything worked and was satisfactory. Breakfast was free and pretty good. Front desk staff was friendly. This hotel definitely exceeded my low expectations. I would recommend it to you for sure.
It is a very good option for the price we paid. It has clean room with microwave, TV and refrigerator. Atmosphere is very pleasant. Staff were helpful. They are pet friendly. I can park my truck easily here. Overall it's a nice experience to stay.
Another Econo Lodge Rebranded from " Who Knows What ". A Very Old Motel and Shows It. Room was basically what you expect from Lower end Lodging but " Missing Things in the Room ", Showed a Lack of Concern by Staff and Management. No Clock / No Phone / Bad Lighting due to Lack of Enough Lamps and Lamp with No Bulb. When I ask for a Light Bulb at the Front Desk She did not know where to get one. When I ask about the Phone and Clock She just said she would tell her Manager. Did however provide a Basic Waffle and Cereal Breakfast . Choice Hotels needs Someone to Check Out these Rebranded Motels. They should have Standards , Eh ! Nightly Rate should be even Cheaper for what you get !
First, the beds were good. The room was larger than normal. They had done a partial remodel of the bathroom. The TV channels were not as listed on the guide in the room - very annoying. The breakfast was pretty bare bones. Only waffles (not very good), toast and cereal. Milk was bad. Not impressed with the food at all.
After staying at a pig pen called the Ramada in Flemington, NJ, it was a delight to visit this motel and find the rom spotless. We don't ask much, but finding a room that is very clean and has all the amenities is a necessity and this EconoLodge was what we needed.
We have had good luck with Econo Lodges, but this was the exception. The place is run down. When my wife told the front desk clerk that our room did not have the promised hair dryer, she pretended to have no idea what my wife was talking about. I am surprised that Econo Lodge would license it name to be used by this place.
The first impression is not good as the place looks dingy and needs some cleaning up. The walkways are covered in bird poop, old cigarette butts and old gum (along with other stains that I did not inspect too closely!). You have to step actively around the debris to not step in it. Why not hose this off and sweep up the cig butts?? Other garbage was left on the walls and outside of the doorways. I see why, as the trash cans were small and overloaded. The only other option to throw out bags of trash was to take it to the dumpster area. Broken glass and garbage were scattered everywhere in this area. Landscaping could be improved significantly. Inside the room was okay; I guess you get what you pay for. There were crumbs of something on the bed, but the sheets appeared to be clean. There were only two, flat pillows on each of the queen beds. I sprayed everything with Lysol. The beds turned out to be comfortable enough. The lamps were not plugged in. Once plugged in, they did work. The room had a musty smell at first, but we opened the window (no screen included, so it had to be shut at night to keep the bugs out). The high-speed wifi was not high speed. Good enough to check email, but not to play games or watch movies. The mini fridge was clean and kept our food cold. The air conditioning worked good enough when we did use it at night. The carpet was old but appeared to be swept before our arrival. There were a table and two chairs in the room, which was nice. The bathroom was the worst part. The ceiling above the shower was falling. Mold was growing. The tub was not the cleanest, and the drain was totally clogged. Water was hot, and pressure was fine, but I couldn't stand in the shower too long due to the water not draining. I read in other reviews about the drains being clogged, so you would think that management would take care of this situation as they replied to several of the reviewers that they would. Overall, I chose this hotel because it was affordable for a last minute stay and I was traveling with my dogs, which they allowed. So, I do appreciate that. It is an okay place to stay for a night or two if you are traveling and just need a place to lay your head.
The room was large, equipped with couch, tv, microwave, and refrigerator. The bathroom was clean and well stocked with soap, shampoo, wash cloths, and towels. The room was cleaned daily and items previously used were replaced. Breakfast available was standard fair at no additional cost.
