This place was nice. On 1st floor. I liked the parking too, right outside my door. Doors are secure, with modern keying system. Carpet-less floors I thought, were a +plus. Shower was good and hot right away, drain worked well, but the shower knob was ready to fall off. Bed was comfortable and clean. Continental breakfast was OK, and what you might expect.
I checked in with a very pleasant man at the desk. My room was huge--much larger than expected, but the bathroom was tiny. I'm not sure that I could have closed the door while sitting on the toilet. But I loved the recently-renovated beautiful parquet floors--so much cleaner than the usual grungy carpeted floors one finds in hotels. In addition to the king-size bed, there was a sofa bed in the room but it was positioned so that it would have to be moved before opening the bed out. I liked that the only window in the room was away from the door so that people weren't walking by. There is no elevator so if you don't want to drag your luggage up the stairs, request a first floor room. But be advised that the parquet floors that I love for the their cleanliness can be noisy upstairs. While there is a fridge & microwave in the room, there is no coffeemaker and no coffee available until the office is open and breakfast is available. I saw a woman setting up breakfast and motioned with my coffee mug that I was hoping for some coffee a bit early (5-10 min.) Instead I had to wait until 15 min after the scheduled breakfast hour--by then a couple of other guests were also looking for breakfast.
Solid Older Motel That Has Now Been Nicely Remodeled . Other Than Small Bathrooms The Room Itself Was Plenty Big Enough . Had All The Necessary Amenities Including A Micro/ Fridge . Offers A Basic Breakfast In The Morning Too . Front Desk Was Pleasant and Welcoming . Also Old Style Drive -Up Rooms Great For Easy In and Out .
Spent a couple nights here. It's clean and the owners are very friendly. Rooms have TV,microwave and fridge, nothing fancy a good value for the stay. The people upstairs where a little noisy so I would recommend a room on the second floor a little more quite.
After a long drive, we stopped here and were treated very well. The woman at the desk...Neeka...understood that we had had a long day driving through very bad winter weather...she was very sympathetic to our situation. The room is a typical 2 star hotel room...not a lot of amenities but you get what you pay for...right? Would definitely stay here again.
I can to stay to visit my son for Christmas. Upon arrival I was turned away and told to return after 3. When I checked in late that night, even four blankets and the heater being turned up to 85, I was freezing. The heater just would not keep room mildly warm. Ceiling was sinking in. Housekeeping staff and front desk did not communicate enough to know that I was a stay over, so they kept bothering me to ask me about when I was leaving. When my ride arrived on Christmas Day to take me to dinner, the desk was rude to them. They wouldn't even acknowledge to ring my room. I missed my ride, and didn't eat for 2 days!!!
Needed a place to stay around Youngstown, looked in the coupon book and saw this place and the price was right. Around 10 mile drive and it was worth the price because the place was clean, comfortable and safe. They had a small continental type of breakfast + waffles. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great and the WiFi and TV worked well.
The only thing that was clean were the sheets on the bed! Even still the sheets were stained. The floors were nasty and smelled of mildew. The soap that was in the bathroom had been left and set back up like it was a new little bottle. The folks running the place said they were new and tried to be nice but it was obvious they didn't like me questioning their photo coping my license and debit card .I got home and found they had a double charged to my card and it was broken up into 5 charges! Walking around the grounds you could smell what smelt like pee everywhere and there was trash everywhere except the very front where there was a little grass. The people who worked there looked at you creepy and I did not feel safe at all. We stayed 2 nights ONLY because we had a pet. NEVER again! This burnt me for staying at any hotel that is choice hotels. I also developed a cold right after I got home and I never get sick! More than mad about it and never ever again!
Me and my family stayed for a week while on vacation the service was wonderful check in was easy and the room was quite nice no complaints great place for the price would definitely stay again when in the area
I thought the room was very nice. It looks like an old hotel but everything worked and was satisfactory. Breakfast was free and pretty good. Front desk staff was friendly. This hotel definitely exceeded my low expectations. I would recommend it to you for sure.
