Our Room The view from our room was a pleasant enough and showed off the harbor/dock. Facilities in the Bedroom and bathroom were adequate - The bed itself was very comfy and the bathroom had underfloor heating, which is a great idea. However, the room became very stuffy in the middle of the night (2am) and a stench of newly fitted wooden furniture was the culprit ! Hence why our sleep was disturbed. Hotel restaurant Dinner - Good, Authentic, well prepared food and reasonably priced, we paid 65 Euros for two of us. Breakfast - Excellent selection of hot and cold foods, fruit, cheeses, pickles/salads, breads, yogurts, juices, teas and coffees - as for the Porridge, well, it was exceptional ! the best I've ever eaten, anywhere! and again, the meal was reasonably priced at 21 Euros each. Location of this hotel is super, with trams across the road to take you to the city centre if you have luggage but if you want to walk, it's a mere 10 mins away but don't rush, take time and have a gander in the market square etc... Staff These are the folks that make a hectic/stressful day of travelling into one that is organised, comfortable and enjoyable. Our thanks to Amy and Laura on the front desk and to Ida in the restaurant. Well done ! Even better if... There was a spa or a decent sauna, mixed preferably. We could have done with this, after our ridiculously exhausting day of travel !
Were were staying in Radisson Blu Seaside hotel in March. Service was very good and people friendly. Room was a big surprise in a positive way. Having broad and wide room with two king-size beds. I liked that bathroom and toilet were separated so don't have to wait in the line in the morning rush. Trendy colors and spacious are the key words. You can easily put 4 kids into one of this bed, but least 3 so you could take it as comfortable family room. Plenty of space for all the luggage that is normal when travelling with kids. Lobby was also trendy and breakfast room as well - spacious. But of course the location and view to the harbor and to the see....just two tram stop or 15 minutes walk to Tallink terminal where it's easy to catch the ferry to Tallinn Estonia.
Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Great breakfast, especially the mango smoothy. Forgot my toothpaste, but hotel provided one immediately. Also as it is at a seaside location the views are nice. Pleasant stay A++
The hotel is a nice hotel and is well located. Its around 20 minutes walk from train station and the tram station too is in front of hotel. The hotel as the name suggests SEASIDE is made on theme of a ship I think. The reception staff were efficient and check in and out were very rapid and smooth. They helped me in finding places to visit in Helsinki. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom though was small but clean and nice. They gave me room with a view of sea and it was really nice. Breakfast too was good with excellent continental choices. The staff at breakfast area were also very courteous. One thing I didn't like was breakfast time of 7:30 AM which was late compared to other hotels. This should be little earlier. Otherwise I faced no issues. Thanks
I really enjoyed my 2 night stay at the Radisson Seaside hotel - everything was in really good order. The hotel is newly renovated (2017) and strikes me as quite contemporary in its decor which I really like. Effortless checkin with super nice and forthcoming staff - all relevant info given straight away. Had a nice big room facing the harbour so could enjoy the view - and also hear the noise fromt the tram late evening/early morning which was annoying (and the reason there is not a fifth star on this review). Nice big bathroom with all amenities. One thing that needs fixing is the TV... channel guide does not match actual channels - so needed to go through them all 1-by-1. Several blank channels - and A LOT of strictly Finnish channels. Very small issue - I know - but when the standards are high only smaller issues arise. Breakfast was plentyful - a real nice cozy area and plenty of space. Everything you could normally want - except maybe for an omelet guy (not sure if omelet was possible by order - that might be the case). Overall impression - super nice hotel with a few details that needs fixing to get that fifth star in my book. Top marks on the decor!!
We stayed at the Seaside Hotel for two nights. Fantastic room on the 6th floor with a view on the harbor. The room was well equipped with a TV and a Nespresso coffee machine. Beds are very comfortable and if you have special wishes you can choose from a wide variety of pillows. We ordered breakfast to our room which was more than enough and served punctual. Right outside the hotels lobby is a tram stop for easy transportation into town. Next time in Helsinki we will stay here again.
The hotel is located near train station, major tourist attractions as well as good restaurants around. The staff service is standard and twin beds are pretty small but certain doable considering the size of the room.
my boyfriend got me flights to Helsinki for my birthday so we got a free upgrade which was very nice and welcoming. The staff at the front desk is so very helpful and polite, they helped us with tram/train times and booked a very early taxi for us. The hotel is nearby to city centre (about 10/15 minute walk), the rooms are clean, the beds are SO comfy and depending on which room and floor you're on you get a nice view of the Baltic Sea. The only negative I would say is to do with the water pressure of the showers (one is normal and then you have the option to use waterfall one also), both didn't have much pressure and the hot temperature didn't feel hot. I'd see pass this as everything else in the hotel is great. Would happily stay here again.
Stayed one night; * Short stop at Hotel (very late check at evening) * Good value for money * Buffet breakfast is awesome, but during certain hours it can be crowded All good in our stay, I would stay there again
The hotel is beautiful. Lobby and breakfast area are really modern and cozy. We arrived late (around 2am) and on a holiday weekend, but the doorbell was answered right away and there were two nice employees at the check-in desk, smiling, even. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. We were a group of four, so the price was really worth the stay. The room was spacious, pretty, bathroom with heated floor...It was just one night, but I was really pleased!
