The stuff is extremely friendly. Nice breakfast. Rooms are very big and clean.

No gym as advertised. Not right, should get discount or offered free breakfast

The hotel was located perfectly, however we had a lot of trouble with the room. The AC was broken throughout the hotel and we were able to get a fan however it was really hot in our room our whole stay (would have been nice to be warned as AC was advertised). Also, the shower flooded the whole bathroom and it definitely was not the cleanest hotel room, although the bed seemed to be quite clean. (floors had mud stains and some dust on it) But the staff was very accommodating and they tried to make up for the lack of AC, and were very helpful when we had questions. The breakfast was impressively large and had a lot of options. Overall a mid range hotel. If the AC was working it would have been a much better experience. If you only plan on sleeping there, it is a great stay but do not expect 5 star status.

This hotel is undergoing extensive renovation. As such , it is an active construction zone complete with all the noise and staging of construction materials. The landward facing rooms are all overlooking what maybe was an outdoor patio but is now a staging area. The workers began by 8:00 AM. No view and noise besides. I switched rooms to one overlooking the port. It was fine but the air conditioning did not operate. The busy streets, complete with bus and tram traffic right outside made keeping the window open an unattractive option. When I notified the front desk manager he said he'd look into it. I stayed there two more nights and it never did work. This hotel probably should have been shut down during construction. It currently offers no value and no reason which would recommend staying there. It may improve when renovations are complete, but don't stay there until then.

The breakfast wasa the best of all, assorted everything and good. All carpets in the hotel need more mantainance and cleaning. Some chairs need new tapistry. Staff very friendly but sometimes scarse, they need more staff at reception to lower waiting times.

The location is close to the cargo harbor, otherwise it is surrounded by a residential area. The center of Helsinki with lots of good restaurants and shopping is a 20 min walk away. There is a tram stop outside the door for a 10 min ride to/from the center. There was a small closet in the room, but no drawer or shelf for smaller things. Our room was facing the backyard, maybe because it was prepaid. The restaurant was OK with a good breakfast, but we preferred the very good ones we found around the center of the town for dinner. Have a nice trip! Bjorn Born in Helsinki

The sink and the TV did not work the entire four days. Location is next to the tram a great plus . The hotel would not give credit to the Hotel loyalty club points since it was booked on internet , very unfair , no where is there such a notation while booking

They had the best breakfast buffet I've ever had in any European hotel. I wished I could have stayed longer in the morning to enjoy it more, but I had to catch a flight.

My experience at this hotel was fantastic. We booked a family suite as it was a better deal than a regular room, and included a microwave and refrigerator. There is a grocery store within 3 blocks. The breakfast buffet had everything you could imagine, and the breads were amazing. Staff helped with any questions we had. The tram stops right outside the front door which made getting around incredibly easy. I would stay here again.

Fine place to stay. Easy to get to with a bus stop right out front.

Quick business trip to Helsinki

Excellent location on the Helsinki Waterfront. The Staff was extremely courteous and professional. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable. The hotel restaurant was also very good.

my stay was enjoyable

It was generally good. The breakfast was good.

The location was nice enough. There is a tram that stops right outside the hotel to take you downtown or you can take a 10 minute walk to the center giving you an oportunity to stop at the bakery for fresh baked breads and a coffee. The hotel was very comfortable, the staff was EXCELLENT and I really can't say enough good things about them, rooms were clean and well cared for. The breakfast buffet was well done. In my opinion restaraunt Viola could probably do better however their cheeseburger was great! All in all I would recommend Radisson Seaside and if you are going to stay for 3 days, get the Helsinki card.
