This place is worth staying. Excellent service, friendly&helpful stuff, clean rooms, warm&cozy&modern feeling. It is right on spot: shopping, cafes, restaurants, museums and nightlife just around the corner. Very reasonable prices 😊
The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. The location is excellent and the hotel can be easily accessed. The prices are more than reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the rooms. Free coffee and tea at reception during reception opening hours. Overall I'm extremely satisfied and will definitely return whenever I need to come to Helsinki again.
This hotel is very modern. The two lady receptionist i encountered were very friendly and helpful! The floor in the toilet felt warm and felt so nice given the cold weather outside. The single bed was very comfy although i wished they gave another pillow but still very nice. This hotel is very near the Helsinki central station so you can walk from there to the hotel. This is also right beside Torni which has a cafe/bar on the top floor for a nice panoramic view of Helsinki. Since this hotel is also close to the central station, it is also near all the top tourist places. I walked everywhere because it is all close. Will stay here again when I come back to Helsinki!
A small hotel, that is central to the city and provides good value for money. Beds are comfortable, water is hot (as was the bathroom floors) service is efficient and friendly. wifi and endless free coffee/tea. Good as a base for exploring or - as for me - working quietly between gigs.
This hotel is located in heart of downtown Helsinki, and is walking distance to everything you would need. Room was clean, and very well appointed, but no restaurant or public space. You need to book well in advance, particularly in summer; we tried to extend one day and because they were pretty full, they raised our room rate significantly.
As a family of 5, we stayed here in one of the larger rooms. It was a good choice - the location was an easy walk from the train station, and we were able to find plenty of things to do within walking distance. Kudos to the great reception staff, who were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
One of our sons is a grad student in Helsinki. My wife and I and our other adult son visited him. We booked Hotei Finn for the first week of our trip. Frankly, I was nervous because of the mixed reviews, but the price was right so we decided to take a chance. What a great choice this has been. From the airport, you take the train to its final stop, walk 5 minutes, and you are at the hotel. It is close to everything. If exploring the city is your goal, this is a wonderful home base. It is very reasonably priced. Nothing is cheap in Helsinki, but Hotel Finn will not break the bank, but book as early as you can (it has a fair cancelation policy). The hotel is the top two floors of an office building. The building is quaint, and the elevator is incredibly small. You check in on the 6th floor where there is a small reception area -- there is no lobby. The rooms are down a hallway (a lot like a dorm). The hotel staff are very friendly and speak English like natives. We called ahead to say we were getting in early and would there be a place to store our luggage. They made a special point to have our room ready for us (though they will store your luggage also if needed). Everything is small, like an inexpensive NYC hotel. Free coffee and tea, but no other amenities. This is not a place you will hang out. The room has a small/ private bathroom. The soap they supplied was microsized, so pack a bar in your suitcase. All three of us stayed in one room -- three single beds. There is no closet, but there are shelves, a desk, and places to hang clothes. No onsite restaurant, but you can walk a couple of blocks to a variety of coffee shops and restaurants. Stockman's (think Macy's) is two blocks away. Kampi, a large, modern shopping mall, is the metro and bus hub -- 3 blocks away. Market Square, museums, the design district -- everything is footsteps away. At the street level, right outside the hotel building's door, are bars and restaurants, which are noisy over the weekend, and you can hear the streetcar/tram squeaky and squealing when the room window is open. This is not a quiet place, but you feel like you part of the city.
The hotel was really nice and comfortable! We had such a good stay there. Many bars and cafes are around and it's close to every nice spot of helsinki. I definitely recommend it. The personal is really friendly. U also got coffee and tea for free there and there's a lockbox for luggage. perfect organized.
8 minutes from the main station, easy to reach. Room is really big, bed is comfy, quiet area. Bathroom was clean, the floor had central heating. Free coffe and tea in the lobby. You can easy reach all the sights from the hotel. Really good wifi.
Group of 4 stayed at Hotel Finn a night. We are really happy with their service. The room is big for 2. it is simple, but nice and clean. It locates at the heart of the city. I highly recommend it to all my friends.
