Very nice clean room, great location, huge breakfast spread!

Close to city center and train station. Easy access to light rail .

The hotel is convenient, close to many attractions. The area is quiet and safe. There are several places in the hallway with steps leading to the rooms. Difficult to get to the rooms with luggage.

The proximity to the train station and the city center is great. The hotel is very dated and needs update, but rooms were clean and large. The hotel does not have AC, so I would not recommend it during hot weather. The breakfast had large variety of food, but it was average. The staff in the hotel was very nice and helpful with providing directions and keeping our luggage safe after checked out. I needed triple room with 3 beds, so this hotel had good price.

This property was situated really close to the train station and in downtown Helsinki. The location was great, and although the building is older, it was still in good shape. There were worn parts in the carpeting and many stairs making it difficult to carry our luggage.

Very conveniently situated. Staff go out of their way to be helpful.

Hotel Arthur is conveniently located near the train station. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast isn't the best, especially the omelette, I would recommend avoiding that. That is my only complaint about this hotel. However, the breakfast is included free with all bookings it seems, so that is a plus if you just need to grab a bite to eat. Overall the comfort and location of this hotel make it highly recommended for budget travelers. The staff speaks English fluently and some Russian. I plan to stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Helsinki.

The hotel is in a very close proximity to old downtown and the pier.

Nice hotel for value and friendly staff. Will recommended.

Hotel is nice with a good location near the central train station and walking distance from a lot of the attractions. The Hotel Staff was very friendly and helpful for the entire stay. Breakfast had a lot of options. The WiFi was simple to use with the password and very quick.

Location is good but there is not enough street lights during the night.

Stayed one night before leaving for home the next day. Late evening check-in was quick and easy. Our room had two single beds, a small desk, TV, a few clothes hooks, and had all the ambience of a college dorm room. No floor separation between the shower and the rest of the bathroom; a long handled sponge mop is provided. Breakfast was typical Nordic and plentiful, but the scrambled eggs were obviously artificial and the traffic pattern around the serving tables was poor. Prepaid reservation, so check-out was quick. Easy walk, with wheeled luggage, to the airport bus and adjacent railroad station. If we had time, most visitor sites also within walking distance. This hotel is fine for an overnight stay, but for longer stays you might want to look around further. Not appropriate for business travelers.

Given the high cost of hotels in Finland, this one was perfect for its value. Clean, organized and a good staff - no frills but excellent for everything one might need. -Kartik

College dorm from the 70s. For $20 more you get a much nicer hotel.

Room was too small. Bathroom was very dirty with back mold.

The location is great for whatever you want to do - bars, restaurants, etc. The beds were not very comfortable but for Helsinki, the value is great.

The Arthur Helsinki hotel was average and would have liked some air-conditioning. The breakfast was excellant. Only about 200 ft to the Metro-Subway system and about 300 yards from the Central Bus and train station and another access to the Subway system. A good value for location.

If you might want to have a spacious bed, and bath tab, it is not the place to stay. I myself is small enough to fit in the bed, and OK with only shower. Location is very good, Breakfast is good enough. Sauna service is fine.

Thank you for your feedback. We have some rooms behind the stairs without elevator. Please request room near the elevators next time, so it will be easier with the luggage. Wishing you a nice summer time!
