I loved the sea view and peaceful serenity of the area. It's very quiet. The nearby parks and beach are quite pleasant. The staff is super friendly and polite. Sleep is extremely important in a hotel. I felt like the mattress was very low quality. It felt rock hard, and while sleeping I could hear the springs in it flexing a little. For this hotel I would expect better mattresses. Also, the arm chairs should be more friendly for cuddling with someone. They have a goose/duck problem so there is poop everywhere outside in the grass and along their beach.

Very convenient place: near the tramway #04 and so you can go downtown easily

We stayed here for the Worldcon 75 convention, which was across town at Messukeskus. It was nice to be able to stay in a quiet area on a small beach and surrounded by trees, but have access to the 4 tram just a block away. Several buses and cafes, convenience stores, and a Chalupa (like Chipotle)/ pizza place are a short walk away. Affordable Nepalese and Finnish restaurants were a short tram ride away, and downtown is not far. We walked about fifteen minutes at most to catch the bus 213 to Espoo, transfer to 245 to get to the Nuuksio National Park. (About a 1 hour trip, 5.5€ 1-way) The marathon staging site (Töölö Sportshall) was a quick tram ride. We went running around Seurasarra before and after the outdoor museum closed, very close by. People were walking, running, biking, and picnicking there and on the network of nearby trails. The front desk staff, cleaning staff, and bartender were very nice and helpful. The rooms are a decent size. Minibar fridge is full of the pricey items for sale (no room for leftovers, etc). The pool is small but swimmable, and the (gender-segregated) sauna with showers and sitting area was very nice. A door opens onto a wooden deck and out to the small private beach to get in the cold sea water. There were some of the usual loud talkers in the halls and adjacent rooms but traffic is far away and the area is pretty quiet. The hotel food and beach cafe are pricey but good.

The staff was friendly, the breakfast was great, the price was great, the tram takes you to downtown Helsinki every 2 minutes, yes TWO minutes!!! I took a lovely walk along the water behind the hotel, quiet, peaceful.

Great hotel, beautiful sauna. the breakfast was great with great choice. The restaurant on site was very nice. little pricey but worth it.

We love this hotel because of its "park like" setting on the ocean bay. Rooms and the restaurant offer stunning views of the bay. Later in the evening the lingering sun sets can also be admired from the sauna where we could cool of on the quiet deck and swim in the ocean. They also have a nice indoor pool. Everything is clean and there is plenty of towels and white linens to cover the sauna benches. At the hotel you can rent a bike or a row boat or just hike along bay on sandy trails among the pine an birch trees. Food at the restaurant is excellent and breakfast buffet aswell. A short trolley ride and you are conveniently in the heart of the city. This was our second visit and we are planning to go back and stay at the Kalastajatorppa Hilton.

Hotel is right next to the beach, just a 20 minutes ride on the tram from the city center. Room was in excellent conditions, just overlooking the sea, and the rest of facilities are magnificent. Breakfast included everything you might need, and staff was extremely helpful. Definitely great value for money!
