Perfect night accompanied by cocktails and perfect service. All the staff from reception to bell boys and bartenders were super at their jobs. Breakfast at the winter terrace was the cherry on top. Loved it!
The style here is old fashioded british I guess. With the 5 star hotel, you would not expect the strange hazzle they had with credit card linking to room service or something. The personnel was a little bit too relaxed as well. At the breakfast, no greetings, and many things finished, you needed to wait. Spa was a nice addition, which most hotels don't offer. We had an executive suite, but somewhat small it was. Actually, one thing to mention too: Executive suite included access to lounge, where drinks are free in the afternoon, between 15:30 and 17:30. That was a bonus ! :)
We stayed here on a last minute get away and found it to be the perfect traditional hotel for our trip. The staff are fantastic.......so helpful and knowledgeable, as it was last minute we had many questions about what to do in the area and where to visit and when visiting the lounge available to guests that booked suits on the first night we found the waitress to be the answer to all of our questions, with many excellent recommendations and tips. The in room sauna was a really nice addition to our stay especially after experiencing how cold it can get outside!!! We had dinner in the restaurant on the eve of Independence Day and really enjoyed not only the food but also the atmosphere! Helsinki in general is a pretty small city but the people have big personalities!
Very good hotel with excelent location in Helsinki centrum. Nice rooms and pleasant service. Good restaurant, very good dinner menu and pleasant bar. Near Ateneum which is worth visiting if You like Art.
We were here to celebrate my mother in law and Finlands 100 years of independence at the same time :) we had booked the hotel month ago just to be sure to have rooms for 10 people. Well you can be sure that this is a hotel in a first class degree. The staff was friendly and made you feel very welcome. The rooms were outstanding and well it had to be for that price 😂. Me and my husband with our son had a double room (about 400 euro per night) and I think that all of the others had the same. You felt like you were a star walking in that hotel and in the evening there was a party (6/12-2017) to celebrate the independence and a lot of famous people were there. But mostly we were there to celebrate my mother in law turning 70. Me and my husband took champagne and well 😂 you need a fat wallet on this one (21 euro per each) But I think it's the same everywhere when you go to a first class hotel. The only thing I can make a small complain about was the cleaning in the room because the had not cleaned it properly 😂 we found an old t-shirt behind a drawer and it was dust in the corners. The breakfast was ok but not as fancy as I thought it should be. But I do recommend this hotel for sure if you want something special and near everything. Thank you. Kiitos.
A great luxury hotel in the heart of Helsinki. Rooms are lovely and comfortable, with nice bedding and amenities. Beds are comfortable and are a reasonable size too. The gym has a lack of equipment but is functional. Breakfast is a typical Finnish style, with a nice luxury style restaurant. Food is good quality. The service staff are helpful, but often under pressure and rushed. Overall a great hotel, but for a slightly less formal and less expensive option, try Hotel Glo next door.
Personnel friendly, service excellent, breakfast quite ok, room ok but bathroom somehow worn-out and shower even unclean. Small problems all the time. Not satisfied with quality-price ratio. Location of the hotel is very good.
My fiancé & I had a wonderful stay for our first time in Helsinki at Hotel Kamp. We were very impressed with our modern & comfortable suite & the plentiful array of breakfast buffet options. Very friendly staff & we couldn’t have chosen a better placed hotel for checking out the local sights & attractions. We will definitely be back to stay next time we’re in town.
Kamp is always a great place to stay. Very nice brasserie and bar, very effecient staff. Rooms are rather spacious with enough space to work, and even to do some yoga. Location is very central, and overall surrounding is very nice. Wi-Fi works well in the lobby and in the room.
I love the hotel and will come again. It is my home away from home. Some of the stuff is like family. We are this year coming at Christmas with family. Will recomend this hotel to everyone. And try the food in the restaurants :D
