Amazing front desk staff. Friendly and ready to help at all times ! Great interiors. Less attention to details when it comes to cleaning of the rooms. Great location. This hotel is must try when in Helsinki.
If you have only short period of time to stay in Helsinki why dont you make it most pleasant one. Then deffinately your choise is Hotel Kämp. Location is perfect, staff most efficient, brakfast from heaven and room (we were Executive ) best ever, notably the bed! I slep like a baby. Relly nice experience and deffinately come back.
Excellent Hotel. Great service, good rooms, good restaurant. Location in Helsinki is excellent. If you ever visit Helsinki, and want a premium experience, this it the hotel you should try. We have been here many times, and we love it.
La grande dame of the Helsinki luxury establishments. Contained opulence with little bling bling (luckily), though I was impressed most by the marble bathrooms and the giant cupola at the centre of the inner patio. Impeccable service. A fine breakfast but would have expected a broader choice of items for a place of this standing.
This Hotel deserves to fly the Leading Hotels of the World flag above it as it does. Classic European grand dame but not old and in need of a remodel. Rooms are very comfy, big bathrooms and the staff are the best I’ve experienced in the last few years of a lot of long haul travel, especially the front desk and concierge. Many hotel staff fall short of sending you to the best bars and restaurants in the city but the Hotel Kamp staff didn’t. Great location everything in walking distance.
We stayed in Kämp three nights. Generally, the hotel was excellent: location, service, and staff. The major negative point was that the room was quite small for two adults. We dined once in the restaurant at the hotel. Its à la carte menu has a fairly limited choice of dishes, but there are plenty of alternative restaurants around. The food we had was tasty and well presented.
Hotel Kamp is amazing, this hotel has first class accommodations. The restaurant and bar were fabulous. The staff were very kind and very attentive to all my needs. The location is perfect, there is a lot to do in this area. Definitely would stay here again when visiting Helsinki.
I can highly recommend this hotel. Stunning beds, linen, towels etc. Very quiet and contained in the great of Helsinki. When we had a plumbing problem, the staff arranged a new room in minutes. Tea tray came with red roses. Nice touch.
We booked an executive room, 709, which came with extra benefits since the last time we stayed here, including free breakfast and access to the Upper Lounge. It was a large room with a very comfy bed, desk, table and chairs. Unfortunately, it still had the type of minibar that automatically registers items taken, with just a tiny area for personal stuff; however, this time there was a kettle and small cups and saucers provided, so we didn’t have to ask. The bathroom was large with lovely big bath, two washbasins, separate - and very good - shower and a WC in small glass room off. It had views over street, but was quiet. The WiFi was free and ok although needed to login every day but there were no sockets by the bed to charge phones, just a usb and plugs by the desk. It was warm and the a/c didn’t seem to make much difference, but we could open the windows, so it wasn't too bad. The curtains don’t overlap the windows so there was some light in the morning. The Upper Lounge was very good: canapés including duck, egg and smoked salmon plus sparkling wine and local honey beers, between 3:30-5:30 pm. The breakfast buffet in the restaurant, including fried eggs and omelettes was very good. The location is excellent, only a short walk to the shopping areas and to the harbour. We were woken by building work to the front of the hotel on the Friday morning at about 8:00, which we were not warned about in advance, but it wasn't too loud and didn't happen on the Saturday or Sunday.
No other hotel in Helsinki can offer the same quality of service, location and style. The breakfast is sublime. They have good gluten free food and rooms for persons with allergies. Very nice SPA and a new limo service.
