Great staff and location. The mattress and pillows were a bit uncomfortable.

Overall we enjoyed our one night stay. everything was clean and the WiFi worked well. The room we had was not as modern as the pictures make it appear online but everything else met or exceeded expectations. The staff was friendly and the welcome drink was a nice touch. We would stay again if returning to Heidelberg.

The bed was nit where you would find it in. a professional institution. Good welcome and free drink on arrival

Honestly, disappointing experience. Some of the staff were quite unhelpful, and is not the 4-star hotel it is advertised to be. Very good location though, near the Old City and the drop-off of the very convenient bus to Frankfurt Airport.

This hotel is roughly halfway between the train station and the old town. It is a modern, comfortable hotel. Breakfast is not included in the room price; it was quite nice but expensive. Internet is also extra.

I recommend the hotel for the 100 to 120 euro range with comfortable and quiet rooms. Walking distance to old town on Haupt Strasse or to the castle. The breakfasts were fantastic in typical German fashion and very courteous staff. Great conference rooms for business meetings. Only down side,if it matters, the rooms are not very attractive and need renovation, but they were clean and adequate. It's not the Marriott but the prices are much cheaper here. I recommend it.

My wife and I spent two days relaxing and enjoying Heidelberg's ambience after a week teaching nearby. The Leonardo provided a perfect, inexpensive, quiet and homey environment, in an incredibly convenient location, a safe haven in which to rest and recoup. The staff (all English speaking) bent over backwards to make us comfortable and welcome, especially the desk clerks, who made sure we knew exactly where everything was in Heidelberg (including the Haupstrasse's amazing shopping and dining!) They also made all of our arrangements for transportation to the airport. After an awesome, luxurious complimentary breakfast on our last day, a shuttle was waiting for us and took us to the door of Lufthanza in Frankfurt's airport. I highly recommend this friendly hotel. It could use a bit more elegance in the room itself, but for the price, their simple double room is just fine.
