Die Einrichtung war genau wie auf den Bildern, da wurden wir weder positiv noch negativ überrascht. Die zentrale Lage war natürlich optimal. Das größte Problem war der üble und nicht definierbare Gestank ein Zimmer. Auch ein offenes Fenster hat nichts gebracht. Wir hatten nicht die Zeit und Lust das beim Personal zu melden und nach einem andere Zimmer zu fragen.

Centralt beliggende ældre hotel, men alting fungerede. (Men burde nok snart få en opgradering). Meget besværlig indtjeknings procedure, men der manglede ikke underholdning pga. de 2 receptionister. Super morgenmad med stort udvalg og meget god betjening. God valuta for pengene

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral am Bahnhof, die Innenstadt und einige Parks in der Umgebung können fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreicht werden. Wer möchte, kann auch vom Hotel zum Zoo laufen, die Entfernung beträgt etwa 1,4 km. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß und verfügte über einen Kleiderschrank und einem Tresor. Im Bad gab es neben Duschgel, Fön und Seife auch einen zusätzlichen Heizstrahler. Die Rezeption hat 24/7 geöffnet und man kann kostenlose sein Gepäck deponieren. Insgesamt war ich mit meinem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden.

Preis Leistung völlig okay. Liegt praktisch direkt hinter dem Hauptbahnhof. Leider keine Klimaanlage, deshalb auch laut da man das Fenster wegen der hohen Temperatur geöffnet halten musste.

Gebucht hatte ich das „Hotel Plaza“ – vor Ort hieß es dann „Hotel Yors“, was aber leider Google Maps u.a. Webseiten nicht bekannt gegeben wurde. Der Name ist brandneu, alles andere gibt jedoch den Eindruck, als sei die Vokabel „neu“ zuletzt um 1960 herum adäquat gewesen. Mein Eindruck: Ein biederes, stickiges, gewissermaßen kleinbürgerliches Haus. So müssen Jugendherbergen in der DDR ausgesehen haben, dachte ich mir beim Anblick der Möbel. Die wenigen Steckdosen im Zimmer werden durch weite Laufwege auf den Gängen mehr als ausgeglichen. Es gibt keine Minibar, dafür aber einen Mini-Fernseher. Das Taschentuchfach im Bad besticht durch gähnende Leere. Nächtlicher Kneipensound aus der unmittelbaren Umgebung lässt einen bereuen, dass man Frischluft mag. Doch immerhin, für moderne Kunst ist gesorgt: Im Bilderrahmen meines Zimmer (hier: 422) ist ein Silberfisch verendet und nun für alle Ewigkeit konserviert. Schon beim Check-in müssen „zusätzliche Daten“ (die ich angeblich bei der Buchung „vergessen“ habe) umständlich über einen Drehbildschirm eingetippt werden. Es würde zweifellos wesentlich schneller gehen, würde das Personal, dass diesen komplizierten Schritt schließlich jedes Mal erläutern muss, die Angaben selbst eingeben; so aber wird schon der erste Vorgang in diesem Haus zur zähen Geduldsprobe. Es passt gut ins Bild, dass der Raum nirgendwo ein „Bitte nicht stören“-Schild aufwies, sodass am nächsten Morgen die Reinigungskraft fröhlich hereinspaziert kam. Zum Kopfschütteln.
