"The property itself was updated. Although it may look historic on the outside the inside was beautiful. I love the hotel scent that they have. The staff was amazing and checked in on text everyday. The room was really boutique ish which I love. Everything looked kept up. Very peaceful near the water. The bed was soft. Only thing I didn’t like were the bathroom doors. They were barn doors but needed better closure. They also offer igloos which are cool. There is plenty of seating in the downstairs area. So you never feel like you can’t chill out down there. Although no microwave in your room there is a microwave on the first floor lobby area to use which I appreciate. Breakfast menu was small but food had flavor but took long. I’m guessing they need more staff in the kitchen. The bar staff was cool. "
