Well we finally got to return and were so happy to see that the majority of the staff who we love are still there. The hotel was so quiet though, as quite a few people don't know how to get back here without Thomas Cook having it back on their books!! 3 ways to return are 1) go into a Thomas Cook travel agents and ask them to search and book through Med holidays !! 2) Book through Love Holidays online 3) Book directly with the hotel and book flights separately. The hotel is looking a little tired but that's because they have struggled so badly over the last couple of years. Please, please go back if you love Tunisia and especially the Chich Khan hotel.
our first trip back to Tunisia after the F.O. lifted the travel restrictions. As travel company's have not selected Chich Khan yet we went independently. On arrival we were welcomed with open arms hugs and kisses from the doorman to the bar staff waiters and kitchen staff most who we know from previous visits. The hotel has had a face lift in some areas and the rest is being worked on but it is being done without effecting the guests. The food has always been pretty good here but it has still improved since our last stay. Animation team work hard but with so few English it is directed at French and Tunisian but I am sure this will change when tour company's start again at this hotel as we hope they do soon, as everyone want the British guests to return to enjoy a great country. Out and about we were asked by a lot of locals ( shopkeepers, café and bar owners and even locals How many English at your hotel all wanting us back.) Lucky Bamboo café on the front were we have called for a drink on previous visits the owner came running out to greet us. We have been going to Tunisia for 25 years and are so glad to be going back, we will be there again later this year. I have said before that Chich Khan is not the poshest hotel in Tunisia but after travelling all over this great country we find it has the most friendly staff we have encountered and that was from our first visit. We just hope the tour company's put Chich Khan back on their list very soon.
We would like to say a big thank you to all of the team at chich khan for helping us enjoy an amazing wedding day. From the reception to the kitchen staff, waiters, bar staff and animation team, they couldnt do enough to help us. We would definitely recomend anyone to visit chich khan for a holiday.
I stayed for 4 nights recently on a trip around Tunisia. Check in and indeed all communication with reception was easy and friendly. I was allocated a high level room with side Seaview, it was pretty well maintained and I didn't lack any amenities. The only issue was that I found no English speaking channels on the TV. Bathroom clean and shower worked well. Restaurant was large and well-appointed. Food was ok, varied and plentiful, both at breakfast and dinner. Waiters and chefs lively and very friendly. Wine at times not of a good quality, maybe I got what all inclusive guests had (I was half board) but I expected better as I paid for drinks in cash. The bar staff were excellent! So friendly, approachable and funny. The drinks they served were good quality, being it wine, coffee or spirits. You should be really proud of them. Bar area beautiful and well arranged. Same goes for the entertainment team, they worked really hard to engage everyone in different activities from morning to evening. I didn't engage much myself but thoroughly enjoyed an evening that went well into the night. I didn't use much of the other facilities, it was low season and not many other guests. However I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will happily visit again. Actually, I'm planning October so hope to see everyone then. Just please add an English speaking TV channels for me.....

The Chich Kahn is a great hotel in a bad resort. Which means If your all inclusive you will spend most of the time in the hotel. Staff very hard working, decent food, clean and comfortable rooms. Nice big pool plus you can do a bit of Archery as well. Hotel was well worth the money
Stayed here many tomes, our favourite hotel, all staff give a friendly greeting and go out of. Thier way to make your stay memorable.the rooms are clea fresh towels daily, the food is varied and cooked well.the grounds are particularly nice where you can sit in the shade if you wish. Typewriters remember your drink and make sure you are replenished. We are hoping to go back next may but don't know if they are taking bookings from the uk.
