Thus was the worst holiday experience my family has ever endured. One the day of arrival 3 hours before check-in I was informed that the unit that we reserved was double booked and not available to us but the host had some other options. After listening to them I chose the largest of the 3 properties due to us having a physically hand-icap relative. After reaching the untit, I reached out to the host about the toilet leaking and was informed that someone would come out the following day. This did not occur. I later reached out to the host to inform them that the sheets had stains, the ice trays were dirty and broken, the kitchen sink had an ongoing leak, the stove was filthy, the microwave didnt work, and the remote for the ceiling fan wasnt working. I never got a response from them. I really feel like I was scammed but I know that evil never prevails. Needless to say I will not do business with this host again and I submitted our complaint to BBB along with photos. The host did send me $100 to compensate for the double booking but never addressed the horrible condition of the property.
