Courtyard by Marriott Gulfport Beachfront3.0 out of 5.0

Don't include first floor rooms in "beach view" group. The bar/coffee area was awkward and uninviting and in full view of the front desk/lobby area. Didn't have enough towels.
I was visiting Gulfport for the first time to view real estate to buy in the area. The hotel was wonderful, just what you would expect at a Marriott. My computer will not allow me to select the boxes, but everything was excellent,. The staff was very friendly and efficient.
Nice hotel close to the beach the ac unit was loud but other than that it was nice
All good. Will stay again Courteous staff Thank you!!
Great service. Great view. Exceptional customer service. Great location near the ship island boat.
The overall hotel was ok. I spend a little more money expecting to get an oceanview. I was told by Katrina the hotel clerk that she could not change my room because the hotel does not allow them to because I book through a third party. She said Oh you will have a view of the pool however, my view was of two big dumpters. It was hard to regulate the temperature in the room. It was very cold. As I was checking out I told the morning clerk what happen and she apologize and offer complementary breakfast before we checked out.
It was wonderful !! Clean, friendly, great service!!
Visiting my sister who just moved to the area. Staff was very accommodating. Took care of all my needs. Room very clean.
This hotel was very great at everything, except for the breakfast....My child had clobbered chocolate milk and they made my husband pay for his breakfast when it clearly stated on reservation complimentary breakfast..This is my only complaint..Everything else was great ..Nice pool, nice staff..Right across from beach...
We asked for 5th floor, nice and quiet. Used the side door and elevator for quick access to our room, which was very convenient. Apparently some packages include breakfast at the hotel, but ours didn't, and since I normally don't like paying for hotel breakfasts, we were exploring the area in the mornings. You have to get off of the Beach Blvd. in order to find any of the little cafe's that server breakfast. This is a nice location, because it's a lot less crowded at this end of the beach. We went down to the Biloxi area in the evening, and there were huge crowds out close to the collusieum, and a lot of police required to patrol the area. We couldn't get away from there quickly enough. It's wise to learn the backroads, so that you can avoid the Beach Blvd. when possible.
It preceded our expectations, enjoyed our stay and much more
Nice balance between professional/ business atmosphere and beach getaway.
The staff was beyond wonderful Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Special kudos to Chelsea. Great food available. We had a problem with the toilet late Saturday evening and they sent a maintenance person right away and had it fixed within a half hour. Amazing.
My experience was way better than expected. The staff was really nice. The room was clean and comfortable and the overall location was great (across from the beach). We will definitely stay here again!
We arrived at this hotel during Tropical Storm Lee; many of the rooms had leaks in them due to the strong winds. Not sure if we would ever stay there again.
walked across the street to the beach for a perfect day and walked next door and had a great dinner.Rooms very clen and comfortable, staff very heplful. We will be back.
easy access to the beach with food in any direction . all around beautiful weekend
I happen to smoke a little bit so I asked for a "smoking" room on the internet site. This hotel has zero smoking anywhere inside. I think I should have been informed. Because of poor weather in Dallas I had to stay an extra day and, I was told, would have to pay a higher rate than the package I'd bought but the "higher" rate didn't seem much different. The staff is very helpful and to a man/woman were efficient and friendly. Truly. Coffee in the lobby is decent and the breakfast menu is cheap and good for those who can eat that early in the morning.
Hotel is near Biloxi, the casinos and a lot of places to eat. We took the ferry out to Ship Island, and it was great. Nice beaches, good off-shore breeze. We brought drinks & food, rented an umbrella and beach chairs. Did some beach combing too. No shortage of good places to eat. Gulf is still not recovered from the hurricane, but it's getting there. We stayed in the same hotel in 2006, but now it's been renovated with a new lobby, updated large rooms. Very nice for the price.
