Hotel Celta

2.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

The staff was very friendly. The guest rooms are well appointed and spacious. The common areas of the hotel are beautiful and the dining room is spacious. The pool looked inviting. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. My only criticism is that there were water spots on the shower fixtures and the doors. I found the pillows to be uncomfortable. I give it an overall rating 4.9 and thus hotel deserves a four star rating.

I like the hotel, the food wasn't the best but ok.

Me gusto cerca del sitio de convenciones y rodeado de almacenes , restaurantes y transporte . El sitio es seguro y sus empleados amables y serviciales , muy bien

Beds are rock hard, stained sheets and smelly rooms.

hotel is in a good location with easy access to most tourist areas. Needs to be renovated both inside and out but you get what you pay for. I was there for 2 weeks and it was a great deal compared to other local hotels.

This is a great hotel. You get a good value for the price. I would stay here again. Room was very clean. Their breakfast was good but a bit pricey.

You must be aware, because they do not respect your credit card charge done through internet. They charge you double

The hotel room's bathroom was very dirty. The bed's were rock hard super uncomfortable. And the pillow's were harder than the pillows. We ordered ice and it never came. And lastly, we left the room for a few minutes and left the Do not Disturb sign on the door and when we returned the maid had entered the room without our concent. Apparently Hotel Celta does not understand the meaning of DO NOT DISTURB!!!.

very reasonbly priced for the area.

I was in Guadalajara with a friend who was staying with her daughter, so I was a single at Hotel Celta. The hotel more than met my expectations. My room was spacious; the breakfast buffet has everything you could want; room service was speedy and the food tasty; hotel employees were all helpful and accommodating. Positives: the greenness of controlling temp and lighting with key card; liter bottle of water provided daily. I'd recommend Hotel Celta to anyone going to Guadalajara.

It was a four star hotel within walking distance to the Plaza del Sol and Hotel Intercontinenal Presidente. The staff was helpful, attentive and kind. Great breakfast buffet and very clean rooms with modern a modern feel.

Internet Service of the hotel was very horrible, keep cutting out. There restaurant was not the best. We were served spoiled food on two occasions and on top of that where charged for those meals. The staff was not friendly about not charging the meals and went ahead and charged my credit card. There bell boy was very lazy, we would would ask for help, for example, asked for an iron and did not receive on till the next day in the morning. The service was horrible in general. The only good thing about the hotel was the housekeeping lady, she did a great job cleaning up the room daily.
