Excellent service in the restaurant, the waiter was extremely nice and kind with us, and the breakfast which is included was very good, the water in the shower was not good, although they fixit for the next day
Overall a great value through and through. I would break down my ratings in the following, 5 stars - price. We paid ~US$174 with taxes including for 3 nights total and for 3 adults and 2 kids. It is popular for locals and it is typical sold out. It was the case when we checked in. Good that We had reservation from bookings.com 4 stars - amenities with free Wifi, 1 bottle water a day and breakfast. High quality breakfast with eggs, beans, breads and pastries, yogurt, 4 types of fresh fruits, cereal and juices. This was so valuable to us with two picky kids. It can cost ~$100 peso person if you eat out 1 star - decor. The room, hallway and washroom are still in the 80s. Our room was 503 overseeing the park. 3 stars - beds, firm just how I like it with back pain. 3 stars - for bathroom, water, sinks, toilet and shower all function just fine. 4 stars - safety, there are securities guarding the place 24/7.
Smelly rooms, people smoking on the hallways, the tables at the restaurant were cleaned with a rag that smelled like feet, so we were eating while getting this stench of feet or old cheese, the sink in the bathroom was about to fall off the wall, so they fixed it with a stick, people at the reception had earphones on, you can hear absolutely everything going on on the other rooms, sheets are like sandpaper, just the worst experience ever, my girlfriend and i had to change hotels next morning, it is cheap but DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT, spend a couple hundred pesos more and you will be in a much better place. Again, DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL.
I was expecting a budget hotel, but this was a complete disappointment. I had a car rented, and it said that they had parking. It wasn't clear that it had a charge. Maybe my mistake, because it didn't say it was free neither. BTW, the parking is in other place one block away from the hotel. The room was old, and the toilet was damage, it made noise all night long. I couldnt sleep.Unfortunately I arrive late after midnight, and was staying jus one night, so it was a wasting of time asking for a room change. Breakfast was included. In was less than average, but buffet, so there were some options that were OK. Service in the lobby was poor.
I have stayed in this hotel for 6 nights.I am extremly happy with the world class service extended to the guests. The staff is very friendly and cooperative. The complimentary breakfast is amazing. The room is neat and clean.
I am a business traveler , i travel a lot.i Prefer to stay in this hotel for customer friendly staff and good service.I always enjoy there hospitality. Especially wil thanks christian ,Anel and another girl at reception. They r very polite and customer friendly. There breakfast is also very good. I enjoy there hotel for stay for 1 week . GOOD LUCK
Place looked old and outdated. Shower towels were stained with green stripes, the staff appeared non interested in dissatisfaction of many patrons.only plus is location of hotel near city center. There are a lot better choices for hotels are out there for less money in area. The hotel also charged for parking. Very loud at night, dark in the hotel.
The Secretariat of Culture puts all of their academic guests in this hotel. They require us to have to share a room with a stranger. The hotel manager tried to have me pay the entire cost of the hotel room when what was agreed was that the Secretariat would pay half. Finally, when that fiasco was over, I was taken to my room (714) which was seemingly clean on the surface. Well as I worked on my computer on top of the made bed, bugs started bouncing about. I killed two of them, it didn't seem unusual. But then when I climbed in the bed, already under the covers, I noticed things moving on my pillow. The bed was infested with bugs of all sizes. I called to me switched to a different hotel room, at which point the staff came in to take pictures of the bugs - just to make sure. Well it was disgusting. If it weren't for the fact that I HAVE to stay here, I wouldn't. Not recommended for anyone. You can hear the air system at night, the bathrooms are disgusting, there is noise at all times, it is not a place for decent people.
We stayed here 2 nights. The girls behind the front desk are very rude. The hotel is old The bathrooms are disgusting. You need flip flops to showers. The walls are not house proof. The beds are hard. They require a deposit for TV control and long distance calls. Please make sure you ask for a deposit receipt, if not they will not return your deposit...pay the extra money and stay somewhere else. This hotel is used for lodging of the Mexican tourists. the tiny lobby was always full of people coming in and out, tour buses, outside, loud area. The one positive is they have WiFi in the rooms.
We arrived by bus into Guadalajara at night and with not speaking Spanish it can be over whelming. The taxi driver recommended the Aranzazu Eco.. It is defiantly a budget hotel.we found it clean.A/C worked. Not fancy but you can't expect much for 50 bucks including breakfast. The staff spoke English and were very accommodating.Good location. Its at el centro of the historical part of town in the middle of the shopping district.Very large presence of Federalies staying there. We would stay there again. It's just ok.
