This place is great for an outdoor event on the lawn... that's it. Rooms are old, A/C systems are way too loud and are manually controlled meaning you can set your temperature to a level where it turns off... I had some cabinet doors fall off. This Hotel chain is normally very nice, but this location is the worst I've ever experienced.

Good hotel for the price, it needs to remodel the rooms, but we had a great service, thank you very much

Everything about the hotel is great except that the wifi is not included in the room price. We paid a separate fee for it and it can only be used for 2 devices which is ridiculous cause at least every person has a phone and a laptop or tablet. We were 2 guests in the room and we could not have wifi in all of our devices.

This hotel look nice on line but and reality it's not nice compere to the hotel I stay on the past for this price you stay on Puebla at the Barcelo it's less expensive

Excellent place to stay even for one night, really enjoyable.

Hotel is located in a very nice part of Guadalajara City. Beautiful gardens. Pools needed a little more attention. Room was clean and very confortable, although a little bit noisy. Very good Cost/Beneffit rate when reserved on line.

Prices are kind of high for the buffet and didn't like that there is a charge to WIFI. The rooms need more light and a full size mirror.

Excellent service. Period. Could not have been happier to return to a hotel that I visited 35 years ago with my Mother. She was there in spirit and by the exemplary service and kindness from the staff, which sent me a gorgeous floral arrangement in her memory! Truly a priviledged experience! Besides the wonderful memories of past, the staff created wonderful new memories for me.. one of kindness beyond measure, extremely comfortable rooms, delicious room service, excellent tequila "despedida"(departure drink) on the house!

It is an hotel distributed on a large green area pretty close to downtown. Pools, big beautiful trees and flowers all around many different buildings to store high. Pleasant service and great outdoor breakfast buffet.

The hotel itself is great, it has a very relaxed atmosphere and it feels secluded despite being in a busy area of the city. The staff is wonderful and always available to help. They're without a doubt the ones that make the hotel. It's also a perfect hotel for both business and family stays. The shortfalls are just a few and the main one is lack of internet included in the room price. I don't mind paying a few extra dollars per night for something that is so vital instead however one has to either pay for it day by day, all upfront or by leaving a credit card number. This is especially annoying to those who travel with little free time - especially in a world where an internet connection is more essential than a TV. There are a few more errors here and there but nothing out of the ordinary and definitely nothing that detracts from this wonderful hotel. This was my second stay and I'll definitely keep coming back.

muy tranquilo el hotel, muy padres jardines, excelente atencion..

All around it was a good experience, great staff, one minor detail I got charge for 3 small items from the mini bar that I did not consumed ( small pocket change $15) but overall I was very Happy!!!

THE SETTING OF THE HOTEL IS AWESOME.VILLA TYPE WITHOUT ANY ELEVATORS:) IS SORROUNDED BY VERY NICE GARDENS,MULTIPLE POOLS AROUND THE SITE. VERY NICE FOOD AND SERVICE,ROOMS ARE VERY COZY WITH CONFORTABLE BEDS AND PILLOWS.EACH ROOM HAVE ITS OWN VERANDAH

I need coffee in the morning. It was ashame that there was not any mini coffee maker in the rooms, that were complimentary, like other hotels I have stayed in. The main pool is right in the front, so unless you like to strutt your stuff, it can get a bit initmidating. However, the mini pools in the back were great. Also, the gardens were beautifully kept, rooms were cleaned to perfection. The rugs need to be cleaned up a bit. The buffet for breakfast is extremely pricey, at 25.00 US dollars. The room service food was also ranging from 15 to 30.00 us dollars for your order. It was very quiet in the rooms at night. VAlet was cheap, so definately valet!

i was happy in this hotel, the satff are really helper, i like very much the restaurant Maria Bonita i only wish that they changed the carpets that smell a little bad

ROOMS VERY CLEAN, BEST GARDENS EVER. NO ELEVATORS, GOOD FOOD.

My experience was perfect ! , the staff is very good, the food was delicious, the location is really nice because is closer to a lot of the stores and malls. I was very happy there and I will come back.

The hotel was a great experience. The food was excellent and the outdoor breakfast buffet had something for everyone. The grounds were beautiful and great for kids. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is older and they were updating several rooms. The amenities in the rooms were lacking, no refrigerators and coffee was hard to come by. None of the negatives took away from the experience.

The hotel was very clean and we enjoyed going swimming in one of the warmer pools!

The grounds were very comfortable and beautiful with centuries old fiscus trees accompanied by well tended landscaping. The multiple pools were aesthetically and conveniently located. We enjoyed many poolside and indoor meals where the service was exceptional as was the room service. The location is a distance from the downtown area which was easily accessed by taxis which were usually waiting at the front entrance. More accessible, available information about Guadalajara, including transportation options, detailed maps and surrounding areas would have been appreciated. There are more economically priced hotels but for character and service, the Camino Real is a good choice.
