Paying the visit to family in the Stockbridge area and getting here 1 day earlier than expected, I decided to book a hotel stay for 1 night. I used Expedia and I was trying to find something that was budget friendly, which Stockbridge Inn was. The rating was ok and the price was great for my budget. I was allowed to check-in early as I had driven 12 hours to get here. Thank you for that. I immediately was given the room key and immediately went into the room to get a couple of hours of sleep. At that point, I didn't really look over the room. Just unloaded my car and immediately flopped on the bed. After further inspection I was immediately disappointed with the dirt, moldy shower and shower curtain, holes in the comforter, and dusty shower fan. I know that damage can be caused by the customers, so that doesn't really bother me. What does bother me is the lack of cleanliness, including mold. It was pretty obvious, so I refused to shower here. This aside, it is VERY difficult to sleep at night with the lounge across the parking lot. The thumping of the music left for an unpleasant sleep even if the early morning hours. This is of no control of the hotel, however just warning potential visitors. If noise isn't an issue for you, then you shouldn't really have any issues; but don't heed the warning. Unless you're going to sleep with the TV on or headphones/ear pods, you likely won't get a good night's sleep especially if you're not used to noise.

I went to pay for another night. I was told I get my same rate. She took my card/phone to pay an didn’t come back for a min. When she came back she told me my rate would go up to 75$. I ask why when I was told different. She says she did t know. That seem funny to me. I thought they over charged me. Then some guy came to my door an cursed me out and told me I had to leave and they wouldn’t give my money back for the room I pay.

It's cheap but you get what you pay for, it was a bit dirty, no shampoo not even at the front desk, there's a nightclub of sorts across the street so they blasted music all night. Even when it stopped the room insulation is so poor you can hear most things right outside the door.
