My stay at Baymont Inn in Grenada MS was awful because of the simple fact that the room had roaches in it. Called and let the receptionist at the front desk know, she said she would let her manager know and call back but never did. Would not recommend anyone to stay here until they clean it up.

The room was fine. Could not secure the entry door from the outside.

Nice hotel with pleasant, friendly staff. Close to stores, interstate, and restaurants, could walk to many places if need be or for exercise. Great hotel for those on a budget. Quiet and convenient. Rooms are large with microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, hair dryer, and ironing board/iron. Rooms were clean but a little dated, could use some updates to paint and fixtures. Will recommend to friends and others who need a nice hotel on a budget and will visit again.

The only good thing was the staff. Very nice bit the accommodations were abysmal. Room not clean and the facilities really needed to be replaced.

We were having Bus issues after we had blown a tire just leaving town from Hattiesburg MS, we decided to stay at this hotel given it was 11PM and we didn't want to set up tents and camp in the middle of the night. Staff was very good in finding rooms for us and the stay was a nice relief from the day we had.

Ok we had a few towels, however when we pulled up there were 5 cars in the parking lot. My husband son and daughter stayed there and when we requested more towels the front desk clerk said they were out. This was around 4pm, we tried again the next morning and guess what...still out.

No towels were provided for 2 rooms staff was nice but how can you rent a room with no clean towels in the hotel available

We were late in getting our reservation at the hotel next door where the family reunion was headquartered. However, our room and proximity to the headquarters was great! We had the feeling of being at the reunion, but with the privacy sometimes badly needed at these types of gatherings. LOL

The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the bed was comfortable. The only problem I had: I woke up at four AM when a wasp stung my finger while I slept. Talk about an early wakeup call! But since it's an outdoor hotel, I can hardly blame the hotel for that.

I booked a double room for me and my best friend. We were traveling to Starkville for a sporting event, and all the hotels were sold out in the area weeks in advance OR wanted outrageous prices for a single evening. I decided to stay an hour away in Grenada and am glad that I did. The hotel was easy to locate with my GPS but can be a little confusing otherwise because it sits behind a strip mall and the street on which you should turn does not connect to a traffic light. The service staff was exceptionally friendly. They told me of things to do in the area, which aren't many. The rooms were clean with all the necessary amenities including a television with about 50 channels including HBO. The heat worked very well in the room. The full-size beds were very soft as the mattresses were quite thick. However, there was no microwave nor small refrigerator in the room. A complimentary breakfast was included in the dining hall. There were many things from which to choose including waffles made in a waffle press. The breakfast hours lasted until 9 a.m. It was too cold to swim in the pool, though it would have been small anyhow, thus not providing ample room to do laps or anything of the sort. The gymnasium behind the pool was small and had a TV set, but the equipment was old and did not function well.
