Very clean, modern, great customer service

The management implemented a new process where on the last day of your visit your parking access key is disabled causing a traffic jam at unmanned parking deck payment gates. People had no idea what to do because they didn’t get a ticket when they came in because of hotel parking card. As a group of hotel guests we spent 45 minutes working together to learn you must hit lost ticket button then pay $7. One guest didn’t have her credit card because she left her belongings at the hotel front door to get her car. I paid for her parking for her. This demonstrates how poor management causes a bad experience for everyone. Groups of guests vowing to never return to that hotel. Hotel personnel having to defend a chaotic decision, a manager that may lose his job, and an owner losing valuable future revenue.

Nice, new and clean!!! We enjoyed our stay and are very likely to use this hotel again, especially once it’s warm enough for the pool!!

5 pm - Tried to check in. Long line to check in desk - everyone told no rooms ready and they had no idea when any would be. They wouldn’t even check us in. Told to wait to see if something opened up. Hotel had people waiting all over the hotel for rooms. Sad situation. After we pleaded that we had just driven 600 miles for sons engagement party at 6 pm and had to get dressed, we were sent to another hotel. Ended up late for the party. Shame on Marriott/ could of at least called it texted.

What a wonderful experience. My wife and I went for an event that started at 4 p.m. which was unfortunately their check-in time. We called about a week early to request an early check-in and they asked us to call morning of. We called morning if they said they’d do their best and give me a call if they could get a room ready. Not only did they call by they called by 10 a.m. staff was extremely pleasant when we got there. The room was lovely. I don’t know if or when we will go back to Greenville, but I do know this is where we will be staying. A++

Very nice, new hotel, very clean and accommodating. I would suggest to move the complimentary breakfast time to 10:00 am, not 9:00 am. Many travelers are from Central and Western time zones and don't want to get up at 7:00 am our time while on vacation just so we don't miss breakfast.
