Compass Hotel by Margaritaville Anna Maria Sound

4/5 Good

"First things first: Nya was amazing. Excellent customer service. For the most part the hotel was clean and pleasant. As someone who is allergic to dogs, traveling these days is hard but we made a note prior to arrival and our room was very clean and quiet. That said, I was really disappointed that a large dog on a long leash was allowed in the breakfast and dining areas. I understand folks want to travel with pets but I wish more courtesy was given to all human guests above pets and that there be limitations on where pets are allowed. I also noticed on multiple days that the plates stacked at the breakfast buffet had food particles on the bottom of the plates even though they top of the plates were steamed or sprayed clean. All in all a great stay and will consider it an option should we visit the area again! Oh ... the pool was cold ... the workout facility small but well appointed … the breakfast buffet was really diverse and well done ... we didn’t eat at the hotel grill but we ate at the grill on the other side of the pool and it was good portions for the price but just average food. Thank you"
