Our stay at the Emporikon was perfect! The view of the Acropolis was beautiful and we appreciated how centrally located the property is. We were able to walk to all the major sites in Athens. Anyone who books this hotel will be pleased with their stay.

Very friendly staff and clean rooms in the central area near Monastiraki square. Busy area but the rooms were very quiet.

The location of this hotel was great, really easy to get around the city and lots of bus or metro stops nearby.
The outside noise was louder than expected, which was mostly manageable as your in a great location. There are bells that sound very nearby from as early as 6.50am which was unexpected.
The room itself was fine and comfortable. The shower did leak into the toilet next door but only a small amount.
Given the plumbing in Athens, I was surprised that the bins are only emptied once during the stay. We stayed a week, unsure if that is longer than most guests or not but it wasn’t pleasant.
If you’re looking for a convenient and comfortable room this would be ideal, but not overly luxurious.
