From the moment my wife and I arrived we were made welcome and greeted in a polite and professional manner by friendly staff. Our Executive room lived up to the billing and had everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Food at dinner and breakfast could not be faulted nor could the service. We are looking forward to staying at the Hilton Glasgow again.
Had a raffle prize for an afternoon tea - very quiet when we attended but a lovely welcome and shown to our seats. They checked if any dietary requirements before bringing us a nice selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes. With each cake being described to us. Lovely surroundings.
Another great stay at Glasgow Hilton, William St. Spacious Queen Anne room, only complaint was the air conditioning was not fully satisfactory leaving the room lacking air and stuffy during the night! Meals were fabulous and the selection at breakfast is the best! Take advantage of Premier Elite membership for the best deals available including 50% Dining and complimentary vouchers for wine and overnights stays. Underground parking and location just off the M8 makes the Hilton a great location for all Glasgow amenities. Regular taxi service at front of hotel. Lastly not forgetting the engine room if the hotel- The staff are all very friendly, welcoming and helpful with plenty smiles making our stay more helpful. Thanks also to the Premier Elite team.
Staff where really good throughout the evening but one in particular Elidh Galloway she was super helpful and helped our table and had good chat and was very welcoming from the start of the evening and she was super at here job 😃😃
I went to the Hilton for overnight stay I thought the concierge were terrific front office staff very nice but the rooms are poor and worn the public area nice but a snooker table in a hotel lobby bar area a bit blackpool!! one star gone now a 4 star hotel needs to be classier sorry that's whats missing shame
Arrived on foot, but kinda regretted that as the walk in seemed to wind around some dodgy back streets and underpasses. Hotel is a bit out of the way and best to arrive by vehicle. Booked a suite with balcony but had to wait over an hour for it to be ready, despite arriving after check-in time. The Executive lounge was great and made the wait for the room a lot easier with food and drinks on hand of high quality. My only issue with the room was the loud plumbing, the cold water tap would make a very loud vibration (air lock?) noise when used. View was great (when we braved the cold of the balcony) got some good sleep. Uber driver (no taxis available on Saturday afternoon) could not seem to find the hotel, then drove right past us and into the underground parking and then cancelled on us! Thankfully some taxis arrived in the rank in the meantime.
I was very impressed with the Hilton Glasgow. The rooms were spacious, clean and sleep quality excellent. The staff were courteous and the leisure facilities well maintained. The hotel upgraded !e to an Exec room, which is always pleasing. The Executive lounge was amongst the best which I have ever visited, with a clear reversal of the broader economic constraints seen in many Hilton hotels for similar class. The fayre was excellent with smoked salmon and roast beef sandwiches, and a full array of drinks including spirits. I would highly recommend this property to any visitor and have already booked for next years " six nations " trip to Scotland. If there was a slight negative, it would relate to locational access. It's a little difficult to find and on the: periphery of the City Centre shopping and entertainment area. That said I would highly recommend this hotel on a visit to Glasgow.
We were with a group and had a great nights sleep. The hotel is very up to date and very clean. The room was large quiet. Had a great nights sleep. The breakfast was extensive with every option we could think of. The staff was very attentive and friendly.
We went for lunch here at their new Whisky Mist bar area. We all had their soup and sandwich deal and a cake. As simple as the food was, it was absolutely delicious and filling. The best part however was the staff. Ioana was great and made us feel very welcome. Will definitely return.
Once I checked in and went to my room, I noticed that someone was already living there. His name was Stainy and I also posted a photo of him in case you won’t believe me. Once I saw that someone was already living there, I went to the reception to ask for another room because mine already had a guest (Stainy from the photo). The receptionist was kind enough to offer me a new room ( the EXECUTIVE SUITE) which I had to decline because it was way smaller than the one I originally paid for, the Family one. In the end, I spent my 5 days stay with Stainey which seemed to have seen many guest walking by that room, based on how he looked. PS: This entire story means that there was a BIG stain on my carpet in a 5 stars hotel. I don’t want to be judgemental but that seemed to be more than wine.
