Good value 3 Star hotel could do with a lick of paint here and there but clean and comfortable. Marlene (mine host for our stay) was a treasure and worth the room rate alone being friendly helpful and producing a great breakfast! Not our first visit and won't be our last. Thank you

Friendly reception staff. Inexpensive and good location. The room however was very dark, even when lights all turned on (although missing lightbulb didn't help) and generally the place needs some TLC.

We have enjoyed our stay at Albion Hotel for the second time. Excellent service from the staff. Very good breakfast. Hotel location near the University of Glasgow in a very quiet street. I recommand it.

My family stayed in a double room and a triple room. We immediately noticed the double room had a toilet that ran constantly. When we reported this to the front desk, they offered us another room that was just as nice as the one we were originally given. The hotel offers breakfast for an additional fee. It is a good breakfast with lots of choices, but there are places within walking distance that offer good breakfast choices for lower prices. The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood and is very convenient to public transportation. The only parking available is street parking with a fee, but the hotel does have a four hour voucher you can purchase from the front desk. We only stayed one night, but if returning to Glasgow, I would stay here again.

Friendly helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast. Quiet location. Clean and warm rooms. Love staying at this place, Parking outside hotel £4 a day. Good restaurants and bars in the area. Bed was comfortable.

This is generally a Hotel with a "Homely and Friendly " atmosphere. The location is perfect. I stayed there in Sept/Oct. and the room was at all times warm and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the room was kept clean and tidy every day.

I so wanted to really like this hotel as I travel to Glasgow regularly. The location is perfect for me, close walking distance to my daughters flat, close to a tube station so easy route into the city centre and close to a number of restaurants and shops. I normally stay in a Premier Inn south of the City, near to where my other daughter lives. The room itself was a good size but the bathroom was tiny. That in itself isn’t a problem but a shelf would have been useful to put some toiletries on. The bathroom sink hot water tap ran luke warm at best after being run for ages. Not great for a shave in the morning. The shower was not the strongest but was sufficient. I didn’t get the wi-fi to connect during the three nights I stayed. One of the two Diane’s, the helpful one, did everything she could to rectify this. Rebooting the router next to my room at one point. I did connect once at reception on the way out but it was gone again on my return. Helpful Diane happily replaced the kettle that leaked but the replacement was as painfully slow as the first, but at least didn’t spill water everywhere. Parking outside is free during the weekend and not too costly at other times. The room wasn’t the warmest but I didn’t explore the heating so that is not the hotels fault. We found the beds large and comfortable. A little bit more thought and this could be such a better experience. I hope I don’t shoot myself in the foot as I do want to return.

Good location but I was in a room with a dreadful bed. Also doors bang loudly so if a fellow guest is up at 6am - so will you be. It was also extremely warm in the room, but once you open a window it is quite noisy.

We stayed at the Albion for two nights and enjoyed our stay for the most part. Best coffee of our trip, very helpful staff , and comfortable big rooms. We did find however the walls "thin" on the apartment side of the hotel and you could hear the occupants next door chatting. Also, you will have to ask for a hair dryer because the hotel doesn't keep them in the rooms. Terrific location in a quiet part of town and just a block away from the subway, if you're interested in heading down to the city centre.

Globally a good, nice and well located hotel. I get a free upgrade of my room (from single to double) when I arrived. Clean and spacious rooms although the room was not cleaned everyday (it was cleaned every 2 days)
