Great place

This hotel is very conveniently located to the Queen trainstation. The front staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A big Thank You to Stephen for helping us book our tour. It worked out great. The 7 floor restaurant called Windows was a great place to eat and see the rooftops of Glascow. Would highly recommend this hotel.

What a great hotel in the heart of it all. The best part was it’s location and the fabulous young man who checked us in, Patrick. A true gem who gave us great advice on things to do and was extremely welcoming.

Firstly the good points -without exception the hotel’s team were very customer focussed and welcoming. Everyone smiles and service was excellent. It is very central in Glasgow - 10 mins max walk from Glasgow Central and beside Queen Street stn. Now for the minuses - there is no lounge nor bar that residents can go to to relax unless you’ve got an exec or club room, where there is access to an exec lounge that closes at 22:30 and has restricted access in the evening (can book either an early or late slot). There are no lounge facilities for those in std rooms. We had an exec room booked - we were given 502 - it was so dowdy, torn wallpaper, noisy leaking tap (we do wonder if it was exec) - we asked to be moved and were given 409 which we think was club - it was in a different league to 502 but still very tired, torn wallpaper around the air con control, old furniture, thin towels and pillows - not the exec experience we’ve had elsewhere.
