A day in Surfers catching up with old friends, taking in a bit of shopping and generally looking around. Perfect for us, we’d stayed on a previous occasion found the resort hotel to be well located, although not beach front it’s spacious, spotless and well appointed apartment style.
Just recently returned from a brilliant family holiday at the Wyndham! We stayed in a spacious 2 bedroom apartment - with amazing views, that kept the kids entertained for hours. It was really well appointed, everything we needed was there. Must say, all the staff that we encountered were really friendly and helpful - could not fault a thing! We will definitely be back - the location is perfect, and the pool with the sand was a hit with our 2 year old (what a clever idea!)
Stayed at the Wyndham last night, just wished we could have stayed longer!! We were down to celebrate our daughter's graduation and were extremely fortunate (and thankful) to receive an upgrade. Had a lovely corner apartment with ocean and River views. Staff even left a thoughtful congratulatory card in the room. Buffet breakfast was great as was the pool area, however was raining so didn't get to enjoy that. Would highly recommend this property.
We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment that was quite spacious, clean, and modern looking with two small balconies; one off the lounge room and the other the bedroom. This hotel has a nice pool, with kids beach entrance, and outdoor seating area with barbecues. This hotel has free car parking which was huge bonus for us and one of the main reasons for us staying here as we hired a car. This hotel is quite close to main the strip and the beach. The only negative point I have for this hotel is that you need to pay for wifi and although I have an Australian phone plan I needed the wifi as I didn't have the best phone reception in the hotel/in that area. Overall, I would stay here again.
We stayed on 12th floor and had great views. This property is in a great location, offered free parking and free wifi. Only complaint we had was the twin beds which seriously need updating. One sloped to one side so you nearly rolled out and the other had the springs in your back - fortunately we were only there for 3 nights. But overall a nice place to stay.
We had 5 rooms in this hotel and teveryone pleased with their experience Great balcony- I was facing the Gold Coast hinterland Great service Easy parking under the hotel Really enjoyed the size of the rooms and clean neat furnishings and finish. Kitchen is well equipped. Nothing pretentious but well serviced and maintained Really good feel to the hotel and not down the crazy busy end of Surfers. Highly recommend this hotel
I had arranged for a group of my girl friends to spend the weekend here for a hens weekend. I booked the Sky suite about 9 months in advance to use my owner points to secure it. I received a phone cal from the hotel the day before we arrived to confirm we were attending and to find out what we were planning on doing for the weekend. The girl i spoke with was very helpful and gave my some info about the bedding arrangements as there would be 4 of us on the Friday and 5 of us on the Saturday. We were on floor 16 and the view was amazing. We had a corner ocean view suite, even though the weather was a little crappy it was still a great view. 2 Bedrooms/2 Bathrooms, full kitchen and a laundry, it was perfect. An awesome weekend was had by all.
The room was quite large and modern, with really nice modern furniture, kitchen appliances, comfy bed, and a great view of the ocean. The location is good, right near Q1, but it is on the tram line, which is pretty noisy. There's also a fair bit of street noise from all the drunk tourists and bogan's in hotted-up Skyline's. Where the hotel lacked was in the staff attention to detail and service standards. For example, when we arrived and parked downstairs, the house keeping staff member kept a lift to himself and his trolley reserved, while we waited an extended period for the next available lift. He should have taken his trolley out and offered us the lift, as we are paying hotel guests. Another example, there was broken glass on the balcony. House keeping clearly didn't clean the balcony before we arrived. We enjoyed our 1 night stay, but probably wouldn't wanna stay much longer than 2 nights. Too noisy to relax. And let's be honest, Surfers Paradise is a dump.
We stayed here for 3 nights and the room/apartment was great. Very clean, lots of hot water, very comfortable bed. Full sized kitchen. Also had a sofa bed which could be used for bed in the lounge room. Pool was nice but the main thing was the position. One street from the beach, handy to shops, tram stop just out the front door.
My husband and I stayed here for a few nights during our Brisbane/Gold coast holiday last year and loved it! It's very central to everything making it easy to walk or catch a bus from the bus stop directly behind the hotel or at times directly from the door step to get anywhere. the hotel as a whole is very tidy and staff are great to deal with. We had the most beautiful views from our room. We also made good use of the pool and spa, and the buffet breakfast which was delicious! I would definitely stay here again
