First, let me state unequivocally, you cannot beat the location! I had a wonderful room on the 16th floor facing the beach. I actually, looked forward to coming back to the hotel for the view. Additionally, everything you could possibly need is within walking distance: restaurants, cafes, shopping, beach,!it is all a short walk. Only downside I was not prepared for is that they do not come clean the rooms or refresh travels. It is a minor thing. I just keep preparing for someone to come clean and if I knew no one was coming I would have adjusted a little. But, again, this does not take away from an incredible experience over all. Even the residents of the building were friendly! The rooms are apportioned and was far more than my son and I expected: two bedrooms, two baths, living space and a laundry room! Incredible!

This was our 3rd time staying at Ultiqa Air and once again did not disappoint. On this trip we stayed in a 3 bedroom sky apartment which was split over 2 levels which had incredible views east to the ocean and north looking towards the Surfers skyline. The location is unbeatable with the beach just across the road and the shopping mall just below with many shops and restaurants to choose from. Will definitely stay again!

Over the years we have stayed at various properties at Broadbeach. The better ones being Air, Oracle and Ultra. Our go to accommodation on the GC has typically been Oracle/Peppers. However, we have wanted to check Air a few times and on our last trip we finally did. Now, to Air. While this may cause a bit of a debate, I would put Air at the top of the list. Air may not be quite as slick as Oracle, but the apartments have more of a casual beach vibe which personally appeals to me. The apartment designs are fuss free and are very efficient. The views are to die for and all apartments that I have seen have decent sized balconies with phenomenal views. The apartments are fit for purpose too. Unlike Oracle when you try to cook toast the fire alarm goes off if you don't open the windows, where the internet and cable TV can be spotty sometimes. At Air, we did not experience any issues at all. Given the location, the apartments are surprisingly quite. Comfy beds and big blackout curtains in the bedrooms really help you get a great night sleep only to wake up to breakfast on the balcony with brightest of blue skies and crystal clear water. Air is also incredibly convenient with many dining options and a large supermarket just downstairs. Oh, and not to mention Air is directly opposite Kurrawa surf club so it is a great place for kids to swim under the watchful eye of the lifesavers. A special mention goes out to the management team. Especially Gavin. The maintenance of the apartments is flawless. They are really keeping the apartments in full and proper repair. In my previous trips staying at Oracle, etc., I cant remember a stay where we didn't need call reception to get something repaired or cleaned even after the cleaners had just left. At Air, the only call I made to reception was to ask Gavin if they had any apartments for sale. We really did like it that much. The only negative thing I can say about Air is the parking arrangement isn't the most convenient in design. Having said that, there is plenty of available parking and it is only a minor issue.

Air is not the newest place to stay but its apartments are big, modern and sexy in a Miami kind of way. The views are to die for and the full bath was appreciated. There's a full kitchen with gleaming black granite and an espresso machine. We had a dining suite for 6 and big black leather sofas to sink into while we stared at the beach / ocean / moon. The balconies are huge (and windy) and the location is central to restaurants, cafes shops and supermarkets. There's a bar downstairs and you can order in from local restaurants but it's more fun to eat out. Reception is efficient and I got early check-in and late check-out for free, being low season. Just be careful that you advise them of a late arrival since the front desk isn't staffed 24 hours. Oh, and the beds are big and comfy. A warning to late sleepers. Oceanfront apartments on the Gold Coast have huge floor to ceiling windows and the blinds struggle to keep out the early morning sun. You may need to bring eyeshades or throw a pillow over your face! The air-con is effective though. Compared to Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach is more for adults than teenagers. However I would still suggest trying to avoid school holidays. Pacific Fair Mall is just 5 minutes away and so is the casino. The local bus from the airport stops at Broadbeach South, a 10 minute walk from the apartment. Local trams to Surfers also stop at Broadbeach. It's $55 by taxi from Coolangatta airport and there are shuttle busses too. I'd come back again for sure, even just to try the pool and the sauna. I was on a business trip this time with day long meetings at the Sofitel around the corner.

We had an 11 day stay for a family wedding. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The carpark is a bit confusing but when you get used to it, it is no problem and above all secure. The accessibility to the shopping centre is easy. Security in the building with chip access to the lifts and building. The apartment itself impressed us from the first moment. Walking in to the cool airconditioned rooms with the view from the living room over the beach and the balcony view of Surfers had a "wow" effect. We never got bored of the views from the moonlight over the ocean to the rainbow over the hinterland. It was very quiet and we heard nothing from any neighbours. We got used to the roar of the ocean quickly. The apartment furniture is bit old but that didn't affect us and made it a bit more homely. There was a cleaning service too which was a pleasant surprise. The location is excellent with lots of ggod restaurants in the area. We can highly recommend the "Loose Moose". Access by car to the m1 is easy and the g-link to Surfers is 5 minute walk fom the apartment. It is not often that at the end of a vacation, we all said that we could easily stay another week or too! Well done to Gavin and his team.

We stayed with 2 other couples in a 3 bedroom apartment on the 21st floor. The living space was large with amazing views of the beach. Reception was friendly and provided us with 3 room keys and a secure parking space. The apartment is located within easy walking distance to the beach, cafes, bars and restaurants. The apartment itself would be great for a family but the amenities are minimal for 3 couples. The master bedroom has an ensuite but the 2 other rooms share one bathroom with the toilet within. This makes it quite tight when 4 people are trying to shower, have access to mirrors and powerpoints (there were no mirrors in the bedrooms) and use the toilet all at the same time. The kitchen was well equipt with a small amount of basics (washing powder, dishwasher powder, milk, soap, toilet paper) supplied. Our apartment was not serviced so if you are staying any more than a few days you will need to shop for T paper and soap. If you are looking for an apartment straight across to the beach and round the corner to a shopping centre, then this is the place for you.

Truly one of the finest apartments I have stayed in with the most magnificent views from all angles. Centrally located in the heart of Broadbeach with sea frontage - accross the the road from Kurrawa Surf Club and its beautiful park where you can enjoy morning activities like Tai Chi and Yoga with an ocean view. With a winning combination of super friendly staff, luxurious apartments, superb in house facilities and close proximity to all amenities, the ULTIQA Air lacks for nothing. The apartment was quiet, spotless and well stocked with appliances and all the other comforts you would expect to find in a home. The only downside for me was the morning my stay came to an end .... :-(

We stayed for a few nights and whilst we got the end of Cyclone Debbie the location was wonderful. You are straight across the beach, the Kurrawa SLC and can do your shopping in the Oasis centre below. Long walks on the beach in the morning and views along the coast are just great. Very friendly staff and secure parking. We will be back.

There isn't much wrong with the ULTIQA Air. It's brilliantly located opposite the beach and Kurawa SLC, above the Oasis shopping centre and a short walk over the road from Jupiters and Pacific Fair Shopping Centre. Lots of choices for restaurants and bars in Broadbeach and views of the ocean to die for. Car parking is below, although a little bit of a trek to go up all the levels if you are on the highest that we were, but still convenient. The apartments are modern and clean with all the appliances you could want. The sound of the waves will lull you to sleep every night. Great swimming pool and facilities. Couldn't hear a peep from any neighbours next door or above or below, nor any sound from the street. Really can't fault it.

We had a beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom split level apartment on the 30th floor. Absolutely magnificent views from bedrooms and balconies. Up to date appliances in the kitchen, and everything necessary for a self-catering holiday was supplied. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The Oasis shopping centre, although being re-modelled, was very handy, and the Kurrama Surf Club was just across the road, as was the beach! There are many very good restaurants all within walking distance, as is the light rail service, Pacific Fair and Jupiters. This was a wonderful comfortable place to stay, and I truly could not fault it! I would most certainly stay here again!
