We arrived very early on the Saturday, went to the apartment to check our bags in and go out until check in time, and we were unexpectedly able to go to our room (we must have looked tired!) Our room was on floor 18, lovely, good ocean views, but the bed configuration was not quite right (staff phoned us to acknowledged it as we got to our room). The two lovely receptionists (I cannot remember their names now) by the next day had us moved to a higher floor (22), bigger apartment, correct bed configuration, and the most amazing views of the ocean and the river. The staff were absolutely wonderful, very helpful and nothing was ever a problem the whole time we were there. We highly recommend this Apartment Complex, close but far enough away from the noise of Cavill. Clean, modern, and handy to everything. We loved our time here. Thanks so much.
Fantastic hotel staff. Great location to transport, beach and Northcliffe Surf Life Saving Club. Great comfortable rooms most have ocean views. Close to Cavill Ave and beach!! Managers Josh and Mel were fantastic!!
I was here for work for three weeks but this is a perfect location for a stay in the Gold Coast. Walking distance to Surfers Paradise centre, tram station (Northclifffe) right outside the door and great views from your balcony. One bed apartment with seperate bedroom, shower over bath with great water pressure, well appointed kitchen and laundry, and pool, spa, steam room and virtual golf downstairs. Two blocks from Surfers Paradise beach. Can't go wrong here, highly recommend.
My wife and I have stayed at Artique a number of times over the past 5 years. Each time it has maintained a high level of cleanliness, with excellent , spacious apartments . All apartments appear to have beach views, we have stayed in three different aspects but have enjoyed the beach views from all. Furnishings are comfortable , facilities including the pool and gym are very good, there is a common BBQ area near the pool which is also very good. Located near to trams, patrolled beach, not in the heart of Surfers but a short walk to there makes it a great location. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Had a great stay at Artique! The location is good, close to surfers but not to close that it’s nice and peaceful The apartment was great, Foxtel was great and also the free wifi Beds comfortable and everything nice and clean Only down was that the pool is in the shade for some of the day so limits tanning time. But nothing can really be done about that Loved the Artique! Would definitely stay again!
The apartments are well furnished and well located. Walkable to the beach and other attractions. We stayed at room 1407, we had a lovely view of both the city and the beach. They have a very good pool, BBQ area, jacuzzi, etc. Good for families and couples. Staff at the reception are friendly and helpful.
This is an amazing place to stay We had a 1 bedroom apt on the 18th floor and the views were amazing The walls of the apt are nearly all glass so you can see all around you, they are fully air conditioned and have blockout curtains if needed The apt is so tastefully furnished it was beautiful the moment you walked in the front door A large pool and sauna was available for guests and security was excellent It was also close to lovely cafe's and restraunts as well as convenience stores and a short tram ride to Pacific Fair
Had 3 nights here and stayed on the 16th floor which had views across to the beach as well as to the inland waterways. Very spacious, clean room with everything I needed. WiFi was OK. Staff were very helpful on check-in as I had arrived very early due to an overnight international flight. Short walk to the beach and maybe 10 minutes to the central area of Surfers Paradise, where there are lots of places to eat/drink. Good rates compared to elsewhere in town - would definitely stay here again.
We first found this place when on a road trip across Australia in December 2015 and as part of a larger group of 9 I recommended we stay here in our recent trip in December 2017 (2 apartments). Only a 2 minute walk from the beach and around 10 minutes to Surfers Paradise shops/restaurants. New leather couches have been installed since 2 years ago (I preferred the fabric ones). Great value for money especially in comparison with Sydney. Spacious apartment with tonnes of features, En-suite bedroom, separate bedroom and bathroom, wide balcony stretching from the lounge past both bedrooms with table & chairs and ocean / sky scraper views. Comes with free underground car parking which keeps your car cool in the summer months. Spa area is great to chill out at in the morning or night after the theme parks, large jacuzzi that would fit 10+ people, spa/sauna and salt water swimming pool with partial cover. We used the BBQ area this time also for dinner one night which was great, we ate then played games in the pool. The only downside is the pool/spa/gym close at 9pm, I'm guessing this is to keep noise down as there isn't a lifeguard there any other time anyway. We never got to use the cinema/golf range but was a nice extra that we could have tried if we had time or the weather was bad. I'd definitely recommend Artique and will stay there the next time I visit the Gold Coast.
This is rated number 1 on trip advisor and I read lots of review about its cleanliness so I was expecting it to be very clean and my standards are quite high. The first thing I noticed was the fan in the ensuite was not working so there was a bit of mould in the ceiling. Then the actual shower screens weren't cleaned properly and needed some bleach to kill all the scum. Then the sofas looked like they hadn't been at least wiped down with a cloth let alone a steam clean. The balcony floor was dusty and dirty and so were the chairs and table. I actually went around the whole apartment and gave everything a good wipe down. Lastly we had an issue with the dryer, at first it started to make a strange sound and I thought that was normal although its sounded very scary. Then as I continued to use it my husband actually said it started to smell like smoke and he turned it off. I then took the towels out and everything smelt like burnt smoke including the towels. I called reception and told them and they said maintenance would look at it the next day while we were out. When we got back I had to call reception for an update and they said it was tested and it was fine. I went and put one towel to test it just in case, and again I took it out and it smelt like smoke so I called reception again. Maintenance came straight up and said he couldn't smell anything but I could clearly smell it from the towel. He was nice enough to bring my towels to another vacant room to dry them and return them to me. In which he also said someone would need to help him change the dryer tomorrow. Next day there was nothing and no phone call. I gave up and so we didn't have use of the dryer which was not ideal as I had two kids and the clothes and towels wouldn't dry on the balcony as the sun didn't reach it. I also checked the electrical safety tags on the dryer, washing machine, hair dryers and to my surprise the tag said next re-test was 2014!!!! For such a popular accommodation safety should be the first priority.
