My room was very clean and comfortable, and contained everything I needed. Sadly, there were a few mishaps. I was provided with a document indicating that my room would automatically be cleaned after I had been there three nights. I was at Clarion Inn for five nights, and no one ever came to clean. I asked about it at the front desk, but found the individual at the front desk to be very vague and unhelpful. According to her, I would have had to ask for services, in order to have the room cleaned. I also told the front desk person that the air conditioner in my room made unpleasant humming and grinding noises, and was told that maintenance would take a look. If they did, I was never told, and nothing changed. My room card key had to be reset twice - my friend's needed to be reset four times. While the staff was always pleasant, it felt as if they weren't well trained, and it also felt as if they might benefit from some help with their communication and customer service skills.
