Overall, we are pleased with our stay at the Wingate. We were especially appreciative of the sound-proofed rooms, the comfortable bed mattress and in-room coffee, microwave and refrigerator. We rented a room with a balcony but the cushions were stained. There was quite a bit of bird droppings on the chairs and railings making it undesirable to use the space. The furniture on the rear patio was also in a state of disrepair. Some of the cushions were stained. Breakfast was great with good variety. We checked in on-line which sped up the check-in process. All of the staff we interacted with were professional, efficient and courteous.

Floors in room were sticky and I could hear my upstairs neighbors very clearly even though they were just walking and speaking in low volume. GREAT location, nice staff, easy in and out and close to horseshoe bend but a sticky floor is hard to look past. I believe we were in 222, if there is a carpet replacement budget available.
