Comprehensive information from Host regarding property, including welcome and check out procedures. Large home fully equipped with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Perfect for our needs. Host provided immediate response to all questions. Enjoy this home.
The property was welcome to pets. Our dogs adjusted real quickly and loved it. We loved having all of the bathrooms. The beds were all comfy with clean linens. There was plenty of towels, facecloths & hand towels. There was also a new washing machine & dryer. The heat was a perfect temperature all of the time. We even had the wood stove going at night which we all loved. All in all, we would rent again. Btw the host was very attentive to my messages.
Weekday girls trip to see DMB at Bank NH Pavilion!
We had a wonderful stay at the gingerbread house! It was wonderfully close to the concert venue and very convenient to access other places we went like Weirs beach and the lake! The owners bent over backwards to accommodate us. I’ve never had a host so willing to go out of their way to meet our needs. Amazing hosts!!!
We had a pleasant stay overall, and the host was truly wonderful, very kind, accommodating, and extremely responsive and communicative before and during our visit. The house itself was clean and quite spacious in the main living areas, which made it comfortable for our group. That said, there are a few things future guests may want to be aware of. While the common spaces are roomy, the bedrooms are on the smaller side. There is also no yard, which may be a consideration depending on your needs. The driveway is steep and narrow, with parking only available in a single line. We stayed during a winter storm, and it was difficult to make it up the driveway. The host did offer plowing and did drop off a bag of salt.Overall, it’s a clean and well-maintained home with a very attentive host—just important considerations, especially for winter travel and parking needs.
Ants, ants, and more ants. Hundreds of them. At check-in, ants were in every room in the home. The upstairs bedroom wasn't inhabitable due to the number of ants so my daughter needed to stay elsewhere for 2 nights. If the owner had said "sorry" for the inconvenience and offered remedy the situation immediately, this review would read differently. Instead he wanted pictures sent to him. We bought a can of Raid and a box of ant traps so that we could spend the night without being crawled on. He sent a cleaner to the house the next morning instead of an exterminator. So after a long day at a funeral, we returned to stomp on more ants and spray more Raid. Luckily our time in the home was minimal. Having stayed in many VRBO homes, this home was not representative of the quality we have always found.
