Great location - the view was fantastic. Everyone in our party had a great meal with a wide variety of food in long the filet, sea bass, filet of sole and lamb chop casserole. The presentation was very nice and the staff was extremely accomplished. The filet of sole was expertly deboned right at the table. Overall, a wonderful experience
The hotel is very beautifully and conveniently located. However atff seem very over worked and one frquently has to wait quite long to have questiones answered or for checking in and out. Rooms are quiet and the view is absolutely beautiful. Wonderful place for families with young childrean. Parents can sit on the terrace with a drink and watch the kids play in the parc which is walled and therefore safe.
A very beautiful small hotel in located in the middle of the park with a nice view over the Geneva Lake. Up on arrival we have received a free room upgrade as we were travelling with a kid, so we stayed in the suite and our child had his own room with a TV. Also we were given a free city travel cards for 3 days we've stayed, which were another pleasant detail from the hotel. Every day a plate with delicious cakes were served in the room, which goes really well with a coffee you can make by yourself having a Nespresso coffeemaker inside the room. Large comfy beds and a large bathroom. The breakfast is not large, but of a very good quality. If you choose this hotel you have to keep in mind all hotel rooms are located in the attic where maybe not enough lights on the ceiling, so on the gray day the rooms could be quite dark. Some furniture and the doors look worn out and need a refurbishment.
A relatively small hotel with 13 rooms in a historic chateau, this is Geneva at its best. Extraordinary gardens and grounds surrounding the main house overlooking lake Geneva. The hotel staff are simply exceptional. Requests for family needs were met with an immediate solution. A truly magnificent hotel with well appointed rooms, especially those on the top floor. The restaurant is better than many Michelin rated restaurants and worth a visit independent of a stay.
This park, adjacent to the Parc La Grange with its most outstanding Roseraie (showing some of the most unique roses in the world), is also a must. Take a short walk through the park and then, weather permitting, have a refreshment on the terrace of the restaurant/hotel with an exceptional view on Lake Geneva. You may also enjoy a meal but be warned, check out the prices first! Obviously, you also pay for the unique view and the world famous restaurant!
We had a reservation, which was not needed. I would recommend it anyway. The food was good, the waitress spoke English and was helpful explaining what the dishes were. The filet the fera was a fish of the lake. It was good. The Quinoa salad was nice. Overall with the view it was a very nice evening. We realized that prices in Geneva are a bit higher than we were accustomed to. You can get there by ferry from across the Lake. If you stay in a hotel in Geneva that ferry is without charge.
the room is ok with a beautiful view and a complete bathroom but the service is poor an the breakfast was good the first morning and terrible the second one the bathroom is ok but there is no evening service
I liked all my dishes and enjoyed the lunch thanks to the refreshing view and a well synchronized service. The Gaspacho was good while the Cote de Veau was excellent. To my big surprise, the service was welcoming, humble and caring.
A hidden gem on the outskirts of Geneva set in a magnificent park. Overlooking Lac Leman this lovely hotel and restaurant is an oasis away from the bustle of Geneva. Spacious, well- appointed room. Big, bathroom with great towels. Our only complaint were the horrible, flat pillows. The restaurant and service there are outstanding. The patio has views of the lake, that are spectacular !
We stayed here last weekend for a family wedding. The room was very large, clean and comfortable, the food was excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly. Our best hotel experience in Geneva and it is in a lovely setting with views over the lake - I would definitely recommend to everyone.
