Property was very clean and pretty well maintained. Very secluded, which we really wanted. A little issue with the spiral staircase being very steep. No bathrooms on the top floor. Always going up and down for the bathrooms. Host was very attentive and always accessible.

My wife and I had an amazing time at this awesome mountain house. The view from the top deck was amazing. We loved the balcony with the rocking chairs and hot tub which got up to 104 degrees. It was perfect. The views from the hot tub looking out at the forest and mountain ranges were breathtaking. VERY private and secluded, no neighbors. We saw about 15 bears in three days which was super cool. Even a Momma bear and two baby cubs climbing the trees. (make sure you lock your car doors every time and don't leave any food in your car because they will try and open your doors, we witnessed it a few times). They didn't mess the car up at all!! The Owners and hosts were amazing every step up the way. We stayed in late August, 2025. We couldn't have picked a better place. Can't wait to come back with friends and family. If you want to see bears this is the place. Really cool!!! Thank you for letting us stay in your AWESOME home. Nice kitchen, two den areas with TV's if you have kids. Two master suites with a giant jacuzzi tub in one of the rooms. Super clean. No complaints at all. Next time we will stay for a week. Very close to Gatlinburg and the national forest. Home sits almost at the end of a dead in street, we saw no cars passing by, just bears!!! WE will be back.

Family Getaway
Our family had such a wonderful time. The cabin was as described. We unfortunately didn't see Bears on the property but we did see Bears going either up or down the mountain when we would head out or come back. Speaking of, I highly recommend making sure you arrive in the daylight. My adult son got lost around midnight his 1st night of arrival and my husband had to go find him. We had plenty of starter supplies. TP, coffee pods etc. I would recommend this cabin to anyone! Thanks again!

Bear cabin
We were happy to see bears on several occasions near and in front of the cabin. The cabin had a great view from both floors. But the spiral staircase was narrow and difficult to climb. Both bathrooms are downstairs meaning climbing down the spiral staircase to use the bathroom. It was quiet but the drive was steep.

Cozy Cabin Stay
Our stay at the cabin was wonderful! It’s a beautiful, cozy cabin! We loved staying in, sitting by the wood burning fireplace, and using the hot tub! I and am only rating it as a 9.4 because there were a few things that could have been a bit better. 1. There is no bathroom or bedroom on the main level and the only way to access the downstairs was the spiral staircase. I should have read the description with greater attention to detail. 2. I was exceptionally cold outside during our stay and the heat was having issues. One morning we woke up and it was 50 degrees inside! The host was very quick to answer and sent us extra wood, fire starter logs, and a space heater for keeping the downstairs warm. Which we so greatly appreciated!3. Ober mountain is very close by - which is great for those wanting the close proximity. We didn’t partake in the fun of actually visiting Ober mountain but you could hear the music playing and see the lights from the house all hours of the day/night.

Great cabin, excellent communication
We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin. The decor was very nice with great little touches everywhere. It was very cute and cozy. All the furniture was comfortable, especially the beds. We were impressed that even the deck chairs were clean and comfortable. The view was great.
We saw bears nearly every day, once right in front of the cabin. That was awesome!
When we were leaving our car would not start. They were kind enough to allow us to wait in the house after check out while waiting for roadside assistance. We got a jump and had to get a new battery. Just a plug: O'Reilly in Pigeon Forge was awesome to work with. They changed our battery and checked our alterator.
My only concern was due to my severe phobia of mountain roads. The drive up and down scared me really bad. Winding roads, incines and declines. My husband got used to it after the first time up. I didn't at all.

Bears galore with a great view
Overall out stay was very good. My wife and stayed for a week for a getaway. We love to use use hot tubs and were beyond pleased to find that they change the water in the hot tub as part of the cleaning after someone checks out. The view was amazing here! The description of the spiral staircase was very accurate but it was a pain to go downstairs to use the bathroom when hanging out upstairs. Both TV’s in the bedrooms had no ability to watch anything however she did offer to send maintenance there to fix it. I declined. The upstairs of the cabin is beautiful however the downstairs could use some updating. Some irresponsible people must have left there pets loose when they left as there are stains on the carpet downstairs but no smell. The carpet could be replaced and have a painter that can paint repaint the downstairs and not not get paint all over the trim and bathroom hardware which are cheap plastic chrome finish with basic chrome faucets in the bathrooms. Other then the view the downstairs has a Motel 6 feel. The bed slept very well. Some deck boards had been replaced some time ago and never stained so that didn’t look very good. There were weeds growing up all along the front of the house where the asphalt goes right up against the house Now granted I’m OCD I don’t mean to pick things apart. Everything else and the host were great and yes we would stay here again. With the few things I mentioned being done it would be a 5 star across the board stay.

The best vacation spot for young family
Waking into this home was the most exciting part of our trip. The views of the mountain were amazing. The kids were so excited to find the spiral staircase leading downstairs to the bedrooms where they found surprise bunk beds. And each day we spotted black bears and their cubs playing. There is access to 3 nice pools and our kids had a blast.
The area was so fun to explore with our kids, 8 and 3.
Great vacation. We can’t wait to return.
Thanks for the great memories!
