I've stayed at many hotels and motels in Gatlinburg and this place was bad. To start, you pull up to the hotel, check in, and are given a map and told to drive to the location marked on the map. Drive down the road, turn up the hill and try to find a place to park. The correct building has a small sign that says something like"Hilltop". A crowd of people were wandering the parking lot also trying to find the right building and their room. Cleaning crew advised us that elevator wasn't working. The room was pretty dated, looked neglected and furnishings were severely used. The shower curtain was barely hanging on. The towels were super rough. The back door handle had a large screw holding the handle on and it looked like the upper locks were pulled out of the wall. Balcony area was covered in leaves and also dirty. An old hog wire fence and post are laying on the ground 4 feet way. Vending is on the 2nd floor, machine wouldn't accept $5 bills, found change and machine dispensed wrong item. It is pet friendly but dogs barked until late, some were on the balconies barking at approaching guests. Carpet had been used as a pet toilet and hallway smelled. Continental breakfast was off property at the lobby. Just an overall rough place. Dirty and worn down, inside and out. I would not be comfortable with my wife or daughter staying here alone. Definitely better places to stay for $138/night.

WE didnt stay there. The elevator wasn't working we were expected to carry everything up 4 set of stairs. It wasnt a very clean place. I an old place that needs lots of remodeling.

If heater on...smoke alarms activate...so not used climate control unit... bathtub curtain rod was loose so water was spilling on floor...the room given is on step hill so can not walk downtown as coming up is exhausting...in short if you are paying $110 the service you are getting is not worth of $50.

We had 2 rooms. The first one had blood on the sheets and men’s under ware in the other bed. Curtain was ripped, 2nd room lights did not work, tub would not drain. Room above was very noisy all 3 nights til 12 or 3.

Location was perfect and the room was good for the price, biggest issue was the rooms were so dark. Very hard to get ready in the morning. I was surprised at how quiet it was and loved getting to see the local bears roam the lot on occasion. Very cool.

The room was not at all clean. The bathroom sink had built up dirt in the corners. The shower didn’t drain properly so you were standing in dirty water as you showered. The toilet paper holder was broken. The deadbolt and door latch were both broken. The bedding felt as if there was sand between the sheets as well as the floor. We have stayed at several hotels while visiting Gatlinburg, with very few complaints. There was no reason for the condition of this room. Had to find the cleaning lady to request towels. Walked into the room she was cleaning. Noticed there were no cleaning supplies on the cart nor in the room she was cleaning. This place doesn’t deserve one star. Will not stay here again.

Not worth the cheapness and being on the strip

Huge list not sure I have enough words…light coming in window at night, see picture. Dirty shower, old spring bed, lamps with holes, light sockets unable to keep things in the socket, no light bulb in one lamp, no knob on lamp to keep shade from wobbling, hardwood floor no transition to marble floor in bathroom. Step on that in the middle of the night, big 3 inch gap. Toilet paper thing fell off wall, light switches missing a screw. Door wouldn’t open every time, got stuck almost had to use body to get it to open. Parking lot was ok. Hole in wall behind tv for cable, hole with cords coming through. We left a day early, we couldn’t sleep well with the bed and the light coming through. Couldn’t move to other room, sold out, Slammed Enuff was in town. Every time my husband went to office there was someone else in there complaining about their rooms. When we left there was 3 other people asking for refunds.
This is at night!!! Two lights outside room and a huge parking lot light shining in!

It was nice that parking was free. The room was in serious need of updating. Asked for a non smoking room as my mom has asthma but it was faint enough to not bother her. Elevators were not working.
