We stayed in this hotel when it just came to the hilton profile back in early July. The room and the lounge are newly refurbished and well presented. The staff were all very helpful and the service was unparalleled. The suite we have got was not huge, but decent enough for our stay. We struggled with the iron a bit because it is a tiny one and it took forever to get our clothes ironed (maybe not many people bothered iron here so far and did not realize how frustrating it could be). Breakfast has got a good choice of Chinese and Western food, although lacking a bit local touch. The swimming was great.
Excellent hotel, quiet, clean, good wifi, HBO tv, good amenities, good location, very friendly staff, especially Riven. I have stayed here several times, normally 4 weeks at a time. Location is perfect for me, 10 mins walk to work, 15 mins walk to the metro, all through a nice park with the dancing grandma’s. Even with other hotels in the area, I always come back here because of the rooms, restaurants (I always have an English breakfast), spa, gym and swimming pool are all of an excellent standard that I expect. The staff are very friendly, most speak English. The executive lounge also deserves a special mention, because of the happy hour food, and very friendly staff. They even try to teach me Chinese.
Xi'an is catching up with new subway lines and road construction but it's woefully congested due to the preservation of the walled city. If I go again, I would pick a hotel right inside the walled city and its associated gates, hence avoiding the standstill of rush hour traffic. The hotel is great in service and well located if one conducts business in the hi tech zone as the name implies
Best service ever - and i am not exaggerating. Hotel staff goes all out to make your stay memorable. Hotel offers a sanctuary for a peaceful and quiet rest after a day's out at the city center and cabs are easily accessible anyway. Hotel is only a short ride from the famed city walls and bell tower. Highly recommended!
I suppose it depends why you're visiting Xian. My visit was to meet with several university Vice Presidents so travelled by car in several directions over 4 days so it didn't particularly matter where I stayed in terms of in the city. The hotel is comfortable and sported great facilities including gym, pool, spas, sauna etc as well as more than acceptable Club Floor on the 29th. A good option!
This was my first time visiting Xian and didn't know the area. Had I known, I might not have picked this location because it isn't particularly central for tourism. For that reason, I pick four stars overall. However, the hotel and service itself is five stars excellent! Everyone was exceptionally nice and very helpful--including an email from the Executive Lounge Director before I arrived and the front desk calling me on my day of departure to let me know that because of traffic and rain I should leave a little early for the airport. My room was clean very comfortable. I walked through the unisex spa facilities and they looked very nice, but I spent all my time touring the city and didn't have time to enjoy the spa.
Stayed at this hotel 2 nights for business and had high expectations of the caliber of this hotel. The dinner at hotel was the worst in china (the menu limited and taste not great). There were two tables being served 5 waiters and they were still confused and mixed up the orders. The bed was hard, pillows inadequate but room was clean. The hotel is extremely basic. The front desk staff is useless and reataurant staff needs to be trained. The bar is tiny and nonexistent. Fireworks outside the window in middle of the street woke up everyone at 230am. 3 cars parked in the middle of the street vandalizing and no police came. Hotel never even apologized to guests. Hilton should be a Hilton. This is more like a 2 star chinese hotel with the Hilton logo on it. Management should improve the hotel and service.
Just became a Hilton Brand since June 2017,the standard was already good but kept improving constantly. They have now a very comfortable executive business lounge that is perfect for calm meetings/working. Spacious and comfortable rooms Staff here is very caring and friendly Great Kitchen ! Nice long park right outside for morning walk or exercise. Excellent SPA + Pool facilities
I am impressed with the concierge staff, Alex Li, and cafe manager, Eason. They were both very attentive and always wanting to make sure that all my needs were met. Thank you both for a wonderful experience in Xi'an. I am looking for to my next visit here! David
Stayed for a 2 day meeting and have only good words for the level of service extended. Great attitude, good facilities, Chinese Restaurant serves fresh and very tasty food, Cafe Branley has a well balance Breakfast in all a place i would return. Only one disappointed element, I could not try their "Big China Noodle" restaurant located on the 2nd Floor. The word "Big Bowl" is real as I saw it with my own eyes. Maybe next time.
