Hand towels would have been nice, in the bathrooms, the small space between the commode and wall in master bath, should have been noted, if we were to have been larger people, there is no way we could have used it. It would have been nice if the Light switches were labeled, and some light bulbs were out. Very old house

Had a very enjoyable stay. On the dock Fishing was great. Could use some pole holders. Also Took a pop up canopy and worked perfect on the dock. The bottom level is great. Open area, we set up a fold up table down there and played cards and dominos. Would def recommend for a family that likes to fish and swim.

Very peaceful and comfortable atmosphere! Short drive to the Sea Wall and beaches, the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in, excellent water pressure, very homey feeling! The dolphin sightings right from the back yard, and sea turtle feeding from the dock was a major highlight. The pool was a bit chilly as our trip was in October, BUT we still thoroughly enjoyed it with the kiddos. Painting on the balcony during down time was a mental reset that was much needed and enjoyed as well, and the sun rise view is gorgeous! We will definitely book again, our short amount of time was NOT long enough!
Met a new buddy right at the back yard dock! We gave him a full belly of fresh caught squid and shrimp!

This was a wonderful quiet property! Had an amazing Anniversary here with my husband. House was clean and pretty much anything you need in the kitchen for cooking. The pool was nice and the deck for just chilling out on. Highly recommend this one!

Perfect escape

Lovely little gem. Perfect for a quiet escape to relax. Private fishing and swimming were ideal, and the vegetation lining both sides of the back of the property adds to the sense of peace and seclusion/privacy. Beds were SO comfy. Observing wildlife in the preserve across the street from the property was lovely also. Very convenient location to order in or go into town for food and fun. We sent a few messages to the hosts along the way, who replied promptly and were most helpful. We greatly enjoyed our stay and hope to book again.

The best feature of this vacation home is easily the backyard. Part of our group preferred fishing, and the other half preferred the pool. It worked out perfectly that we could all do what we wanted and still feel like we were together.The pool is perfect for adults and children as it slopes from 2-5 feet deep. My 4-year-old niece could easily stand in the shallow end. Our group caught many fish off the pier. Each side of the backyard is bordered by thick vegetation, so it feels very private. One of the full bathrooms is downstairs, making it easily accessible from the backyard. The upstairs living area was comfortable, there was plenty of room for everyone in the living room. Two couples did shared one of the full baths, but everything worked out great. Everyone had a great time, and we would definitely stay here again!

So relaxing!

This place had something for everyone! The pier/dock was so awesome! We caught a lot of croakers and Pin fish using shrimp bait. Everything that we needed was provided for and attended to :) great place for families or couples!

Two Day Stay

My friend and I just wanted a quick get-a-way and hadn't been to Galveston for a while. It was close to good restaurants and Moody Gardens. So, we had a very pleasant visit.

Family Easter Get Away

Our family has been going to Galveston for 3 years now for Easter. The property was in a great spot. We did a lot of fishing from the dock, great space for our dog to run and be outside, and our child loved the pool. Will look at renting again in the future.
