Welcome to “Reel Salty”, a beautiful canal front beach home in Sea Isle on Galveston’s west end. This home has been completely remodeled from head to toe, completed in August 2021. Reel salty is a short 5-7 minute walk to the beach.
This beautiful home has 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. This home can comfortably sleep 10. **Please note that there is a ground level queen bedroom, it is air conditioned! **

We had a wonderful stay at Reel Salty. It was perfect setup for a multiple family stay. The house was clean and everything we needed. We were able to enjoy the kayaks and paddle-boards which were a nice bonus. Having a marina close by with restaurant/bar was very convenient. We would definitely book again.

We had an incredible stay at Reel Salty! The house met all of our large group needs. Enjoyed waking up and fishing in the canal off the dock. The kayaks and paddle boards were a great bonus and the quiet beach was an easy walk or short drive. We look forward to staying again.

Beautifully updated canal house

Such a cute, cozy home! Perfect space for our family of 7, with a whole bedroom to spare. We have been to many Galveston rentals, and this was definitely one of the more nicely updated we have stayed at. The owner was super friendly, and offered us an early check-in and a late check-out. The beach was an easy golf cart ride away. Our kids really enjoyed crab hunting in the canal.

Great getaway

Place was very clean and looked as described. Great decorations and plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Very close proximity to beach. The bathrooms could use some more ways to hang things such as in the shower or hand towels as currently the only way to hang stuff is on the back of the door. Would definitely rent again if we go to Galveston again.

The house was just as it was listed and the communication was amazing during our stay to help us get a couple of things taken care of that we couldn't do on our own. The neighborhood was really nice and endless things to get into. We can't recommend this place enough, it was amazing!

Nice house and great location

We were intown for a baseball tournament and the location was perfect for us. We arrived the day a tropical storm came thru and the owners were so helpful with what was actually going on in the area and were so quick to communicate with us. Thankfully the area was fine and we enjoyed our stay. The house is so cute and located in a nice neighborhood. Great view of the canal and we enjoyed the outside area looking over the water. It was hot and humid after the storm but overall a great stay.

You'll be Reel Salty... about leaving!

We had an amazing stay at "Reel Salty!" Our short stay turned out to be the perfect father's day/birthday/farewell trip for our daughter who was in town from UNC. The moment we walked in, it smelled fresh and clean—none of that musty bay-house smell (IYKYK.) The place was light, bright, and airy. There was so much space upstairs that we didn’t even use the third bedroom! Our girls loved the bunk room and made themselves right at home. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked, which was a huge plus since we love to cook and rarely eat out. The downstairs space, which looked small and awkward in photos, turned out to be fantastic. The large bulkhead at the end of the canal provided plenty of space for the kids to swim and play. The variety of kayaks and paddleboards were a hit. We loved how close the house was to the beach, which wasn’t overly crowded. The neighborhood was lovely, and having a bait shop and restaurant nearby was incredibly convenient. Pro-tip: Instacart will deliver groceries, but they do add an extra fee for the long trip. My husband was thrilled with the crab trap, fishing light, and fish cleaning station. The outdoor TV was awesome to have and the bar cutout and bay door provided a refreshing breeze. The sitting area with the swing turned out to be a cozy spot, and the large driveway was perfect for setting up a pickleball court. Aj and Jenn, the hosts, were amazing. They were quick to respond, kind, and accommodating. I'm so glad we found this place!

2023 Family Vacation

We had our first full family vacation since 2014 and the house was absolutely fantastic!! The house was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed, fishing right of the dock of the house was a plus, and the beach was not too far. The beach was clean and not as busy as other beaches. We will definitely visit again!!

Family Time

We had such a great time at this home. There were 8 adults and 3 children. The home accommodated all of us comfortably, The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and serve our group. Location is a plus, Sea Isle has a private fishing pier, pool, bait camp, restaurant and bar. The house itself sets on a canal and is very close to the beach and bay. The owners are very responsive and kind! Would definitely recommend.

Our second time to stay here! House is beautiful and very clean. Close to the beach just a small turn away. Community pool available, fishing off canal, and just a short drive down sea wall blvd to get to shopping and restaurants. Owners are great they respond immediately to any questions we had! Will definitely return. House perfect for our family.

The property was everything advertised and more. Plenty of space for all of us. It was nice having the double bunk beds in one room for the kids as it gave them their own space. The property was well kept and clean. Communication with AJ the owner was easy. Anytime we reached out he quickly responded and answered our questions. Little getaway

Great place to stay for our trip. My crew loves fishing and this location was great. We caught crab and catfish off the deck at the house and all sorts of fish from the pier within the community. Plus the beach is a short trip across the street. There is a marina and restaurant/bar within the community. Everybody loved it!

Every year my family comes to Galveston for Memorial Day weekend. We had our adult children and some of our grandchildren. Kids enjoyed fishing in the canal and the beach. Adults enjoyed sitting outside at night listening to music. It was peaceful and cool. We would definitely stay here again!

Island dream vacation!

This property was fantastic, such a great location and community around it! We were able to fish/crab and swim right of the back deck. Cruised up to the bait shop, bar and grill in our golf cart! Kids enjoy the park also! The house was in great condition with plenty of space! Defiantly going to stay here again.

The house was perfect! Very clean & kid friendly! It felt like Home! The private fishing pier is perfect as well! We love the scenery! More then enough towels you can handle! 😊 We rent houses like this all the time but this one was VERY clean! you smelt the cleanness as soon as you walked in! Great experience and property was exactly as described You can fish right from the dock during high tide and the private pier was also a great spot to fish from Host was extremely responsive to any questions and made everything as easy as possible
