The room wasn’t vacuumed prior to us checking in so wasn’t happy about that. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay, everyone we interacted with was helpful and courteous. The vacuuming was probably just an oversight, I know the housekeeping folks are very busy.

It was located right by I45 that made it easy to get to. Was plenty of parking some was cover and some wasn't. Great and friendly staff.

It has a nicely gated pool area. The driveway to the entrance door was a bit confusing, our taxis kept going against the arrows as they said it was a safer path for them, then they would exit again, against (opposite the arrows painted on the pavement), and then turn "right" going with the flow of traffic, which was always moving very fast. Because turning out of that traffic and making a hairpin right turn, and the a quick left to get up to the entrance was even more dangerous, and could possibly cause rear-end vehicle accidents.

The property was showcased as "renovated"; however, it was in poor condition (Rusty water from the bathtub, cracked tiles, dark water marks on several walls, a broken door in the public restroom, detached wallpaper in the breakfast area, and poor quality of the complimentary breakfast. Small room, small pool area (The pictures on the web show a larger perspective than the reality)

Though the stay overall was fine, when we arrived, front staff was cold and unwelcoming. Immediately had to change rooms due to a stain on the bed and dirty mirrors. After moving we realized wifi is $5/day, you can’t cast to the tv, and no options to stream from things like Netflix/hulu. My kids were with me so we just kept Disney channel on but they were bummed. When walking down the hallway, you can hear the conversations occurring in the rooms you pass by. There were areas like under and around the ac, under the sink, sides of the bed that were either dirty or had odd stains. Also the room lighting situation was odd. As for the positive, though the pool is small, it was perfect for my kids and they loved it. The cleaning staff and kitchen staff are delightful. The beds were comfortable. The staff was kind as we checked out. There were always clean towels and the bathroom was clean. Breakfast was really sparse but okay. My kids only cared about the waffle machine. Communal areas were clean and aesthetically pleasing. Overall if I couldn’t find anything in a pinch, I’d go back but only as a family. I had a second trip scheduled in the same hotel but ended up canceling during my stay. Not the place I would choose to stay with my husband or by myself. There are so many options in the area. We will try something else next time.

Stayed one night. When you walked in the room it was musty! Breakfast was fine. Typical continental breakfast style. Service desk person was nice and check in was quick.

Slow check in but she’s was nice. room was ok, bathroom had no washcloths and the shower had below average water pressure and a slow drain. There was a used tissue in the bathroom as well. I called when I noticed they charged more than what I signed for. Instead of explaining to me that the extra charge would drop off the lady had an attitude and said I needed to contact Expedia. After I pressed her a little more she told me it was for incidentals. She could have said that from the beginning.
