Nice place, clean, good response from Beach box, GREAT stay! very comfortable and convenient to walking areaHow could it improve? Put a DOOR on the bedroom area so other person can watch TV without keeping person in bed up. and not sure why the bathroom sink is SO high I could barely brush my teeth.. built for 6'2 not 5.2 LOLother than those 2 things very NICE place

The location makes an excellent home base for all the best Strand and nearby nightlife in Galveston. Right around the corner from boutique shopping, great food, and (one of the best) coffee houses in town. If you want to go to the beach, it’s a straight-shot, 25-minute walk to Pleasure Pier. The loft itself is very comfortable, with a cozy feel. The hosts were very clear communicators, proactively reaching out to ensure our stay was good. This was a short stay over the weekend before leaving on a cruise and this really was the perfect spot for us. Highly recommend!!

The loft apartment was just as it was described. It was comfortable and clean and in a perfect location to enjoy walking to all the hot spots in the Strand area of Galveston.

Close to the Strand. Parking is a little bothersome but overall not too bad. Stairs are a little rough with baggage so if you have mobility issues this is not for you. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again

The location is very close to downtown shops, restaurants and the sea which was the advantage of the apartment. However, it was unfortunate that they don’t offer parking and we had to pay for street parking. Sometimes it was also more difficult to find parking throughout the day when coming back to the apartment. I also wish we knew that their elevator wasn’t working since we had our toddler it was difficult to bring things up and down and also carry our stroller up and down. I will also say the walls were very transparent and you could hear all the noise outdoors and in the hallways. The cleanliness of the apartment was okay, the toilet seat wasn’t completely clean but we just ended up cleaning the bathroom ourselves since we already do that whenever we stay at places.

House was clean and close to town. Bed was stiff and fitted sheet did not fit and would come loose. Garbage disposal had a smell although we never used it.

Relaxing Getaway

The property is an antique, with updated features. If your interests are old flooring, sinks, doors, and windows this space is exactly for you. The air conditioner worked great. The shower was perfect and the water gets very hot. The provided towels were thick and luxurious. The bed was comfortable. The 2-1 washer dryer was an added bonus. However, no elevator so be prepared to carry luggage and other belongings up the stairs. Not far from pleasure pier or cruise port. Perfect stay!

Overall as expected. It is an old building downtown, very nice ambiance for the experience I thought we were signing up for (old apartment building). I thought the couch was going to be a fold out with a bed, it was not and there were not additional sheets. I had brought my own so it wasn't a big deal, just that the 3 sleeping option is just the couch, not actually a bed. The check in and communication were great. The host was very attentive.

What a great place to stay ! Creative renovation of the property … and a roomy well appointed and sensible apartment for our stay in Galveston !Easy walk to restaurants and right in the middle of the historic district. Love the old details AND the new. ( so appreciated the washer /dryer when we came back from a rainy day walk ) Recommended

Great little getaway

We stayed on a weekend and worked out great parked the car and everything was with in walking distance of the apartment Was our 8year anniversary so we wanted to just enjoy our time on the island Apartment was great clean and well kept saw some people talk about it being loud on the floor well it’s 100 year old building
