Really a great overall experience. Highly recommend this hotel. A+

Very spacious and well decorated rooms with great views. Friendly staff especially Dee at the front desk. Great location for people getting on or off cruises. We rode the speed boat right outside the hotel (lots of fun but it does knock you around). We walked to your beautiful Downtown area and took a taxi to the beautiful old houses. The Star Drug Store staff and everyone we ran into was so friendly and helpful. I would love to come back and spend a couple of days on your beautiful Island.

Room was very clean. Beds were super comfortable. Close to many activities. Staff was very friendly. Has a shuttle that takes you to sister hotels for use of their amenities.

This was a very convenient option to stay in this hotel since we were cruising out of Galveston the next day. You can literally walk to the port. Nice comfy rooms. The staff was also very friendly. Nice view from the room also.

We were staying in Galveston for Mardi Gras, prefect location. Walking distance to everything in downtown Galveston

Large rooms, very good staff. Walking distance to strand, cruise terminals, restaurants, seaport museum, offshore oil museum. Breakfast sort of minimal, but plenty of food choices close. Would definitely stay there again. Very relaxing to sit on their pier and watch the activity in the harbor.Richard

Great hotel, convenient to the cruise ship terminal. We stay here every time we cruise out of Galveston.

Only stayed one night but glad we did. Perfect location and nice restaurants next door. Dee in reception was a pleasure!

We had a wonderful stay at the Harbor House for our 15 year anniversary. Dee at the reception was so awesome!! If you need to know where to eat, drink, etc, just ask DEE! She also let us know that if you stay at Harbor House, you can also use the Galvez and Tremont House facilities. The room was great the Dee had set up for us, it look out over the bay with two different windows, the bed was comfy, the shower was great. You also get a free breakfast, and news paper.

The very friendly and helpful Dee checked us in and provided a fantastic room for our stay. Our European-style room was comfortable and clean and offered a cool space to relax and still enjoy the Harbor view. We were shocked at how large the room was and ended up hanging out there much more than we anticipated. You can easily stroll to delicious restaurants and Galveston's historic downtown. Pokemon Trainers: You can spin Pokestops and fight in a gym from the comfort of your room, and water pokemon are abundant!

Great location, super friendly staff, excellent room.

Until 17 years ago I lived in Galveston. At that time there were no hotels of this quality at this price anywhere near the Strand (A.K.A. Harbourside Drive). The rooms are unusually big. They are clean, quiet, bright and stylish. The closeness (within walking distance) to the re-developed Strand and "downtown" shopping district is a real plus. This place is a real winner!

The stay was very nice. It is near many good restaurants, and is a lot quieter then staying by the seawall.

Really nice hotel. Close to numerous restaurant's. Check in person could use customer training but all other staff very nice and friendly.

This was a perfect way to take a two day vacation from the city. Perfect room overlooking the water. Great selection of restaurants in walking distance and a quick short drive to Stewart beach. Everything about the room was great! Unique interiors and spacious room. The free continental breakfast was great too.

Toilet did not flush very well. Could not program TV to "closed caption." Hair dryer had to be replaced - one in room did not work properly. No bulb in light on table - staff offered to replace - told them OK - but later regretted it - very dark in room. Not particularly "happy" with the way "lighting" works in room. Our first trip to hotel - and was given room with air conditioning "return" (whatever) outside window.

On a Thursday night this was one in our best hotel stays ever. View of harbor, including the Elissa and Seaport a Museum, very pleasant. You can open the windows and hear harbor sounds. Mattress was heavenly. Temperature easily controlled. Modern, loft-like decor for unique experience.

We had a king room confirmed, but they were 'out' when we checked in so we got a double queen. The person who checked us in was not friendly at all, but the rest of the staff was. It was kind of a bad first impression. The room was comfortable. Had fridge and microwave and plenty of coffee/tea. No tub shower only. Comfortable bed. All in all I'd stay again.

Really liked the new renovations. The continental breakfast was a nice touch. Our room was really nice.

We decided to jump in the car and come hang out in Galveston for the weekend and bring the kids to Schlitterbahn. I had seen the Harbor House on a previous trip to Galveston and we were able to get a room. The room size was great and we were able to put a blow up mattress for the 10 year old boys. Our 16 year old daughter had a queen to herself and said it was the most comfortable bed ever. We walked the Strand that Saturday night and ate some great food. The boys tossed the baseball in the grassy area till the sun went down and we took pictures of the sunset. We all were up early Sunday to eat the complementary breakfast conveniently on the 2nd floor just down from our room and then headed off for a great day at Schlitterbahn. Wonderful trip!!!

stylish hotel near historic downtown & pokestops!

Pokemon Trainers
As we were leaving. Excuse the unmade bed! Stylish lobby as we came down the stairs. Catching multitudinous water pokemon from the cool, quiet of our room. Just a random screenshot taken while relaxing in a chair in our room.
