Cozy Beachfront Stay

We truly enjoyed our time in Galveston! The property’s location right on the beach made for beautiful views and easy access to the sand. While the space was a bit smaller than we imagined, it was still cozy and comfortable. We felt safe and secure during our stay, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a relaxing getaway, and we would happily stay here again.

Nice property

The location would normally be wonderful. We were looking forward to soaking up some sun on the balcony. The weekend turned out to be rainy most of the time. The ninth floor rooms do not have a covering so we were limited on the amount of time we could sit on the balcony. Nothing that could have been foreseen or averted...just unfortunate. Condo was well laid out and as advertised.

Quick getaway

Cute little getaway. Room was perfect for two people. They had essentials like toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, blow dryer, salt and pepper. You do have to check in with the front lobby to register your car and read all the rules but they were extremely nice. They had beach chairs but you have to have your own beach towels. The beaches were empty but we went during the off season. The only cons were they were doing construction. We heard hammering around 7 am. Also they had a meeting near the elevator which was very awkward. Overall, it was a peaceful weekend.

Convenient and peaceful

This condo is in a great location! Ocean front, outside the hustle and bustle of the Seawall, more private beaches, yet around the corner from everything. It was a great weekend get away where we could enjoy the Galveston fun but when we were ready for a slower pace, we went back to the condo where it was more still and quiet. Perfect!

Nice and quiet

The room is nice and has pretty much everything a couple would need for a getaway. If I had a complaint it would be the 10am checkout time. For the money paid , id feel more like i got my moneys worth with a later checkout. Especially since you can't check in until 4pm . But overall it was a very nice place.

Great Stay, but.......

Our stay was really great. We enjoyed everything about it with one single exception that can and should change. The sheets on the bed, particularly the fitted sheet, was too small for the bed. I'm not sure if it has just shrunk or what. It continuously popped off of the bed at multiple corners through out our stay. It was very frustrating to every nights sleep. Every time one of us would turn over it would pop off one or two corners. I feel like this is something that who ever makes the bed should notice immediately. I've been putting fitted sheets on beds my whole life and I can tell when something is wrong like this pretty quickly. That is a very inexpensive item to replace and someone should make sure that happens right away. It obviously made a pretty big impression on us. Having said that, every thing else was fantastic, and we very much enjoyed our time there.

wonderful experience

the place is great. wonderful view. on the first floor, there is even a room with a washer dryer (reg size) and a stackable washer and dryer, ice machine, vending machines. plus there are carts you can use to bring up your belongings. fully equipped kitchen and supplies. it’s a great place. i don’t think the bed is a queen. it looks like a full to me. it was comfortable but very loud and squeaky when you moved about. the shower is lovely but i wish there was something to hold onto when you get out. nice size bathroom. i wish there was a closet. the white hutch next to the dresser holds extra linens for the pull down bed. i thought it might be a mini closet. you can’t beat the view. it’s very quiet and peaceful. we couldn’t hear our neighbors. highly recommended but i would change out the bed and mattress.

Perfect Getaway

The view from the balcony is amazing! Condo is located on a nice, quiet part of the beach. Room felt a little smaller than I was imagining, but it worked. There is tons of room for storage. Shower had good water pressure. Beds were comfortable. Employees at the condo were friendly. Even though this is an older complex, it appears to be clean and well maintained. Highly recommend!

Condo was exactly as listed. Cute and quaint with a perfect location and a breathtaking view. Everything was very clean and renovated. We really enjoyed our stay. (Even the Murphy bed, which was very comfortable.) We would definitely stay here again.

Ok with great view

This is not a $370 per night mid-week property. Bedding was not up to standard. Door lock was difficult to lock when exiting and stay latched. Needs door weatherstripping. No backup lock. Toilet paper holder kept falling off. with usage. AC unit not very cool and seemed to short cycle often. Great view and quiet.

We stay at quite a few Vrbo and are always pleased. But this one was exactly as advertised if anything the owner didn’t explain how perfect it is. If we are ever in the area we will try to stay here again.

Beautiful!

This condo is absolutely beautiful. It is extremely clean and completely renovated. It's on the top floor, so the view from the balcony is stunning. It's direct access to a portion of the beach that feels very private. It's also very close to downtown. What would make it absolutely perfect is if the check-in process was straight forward. The complex didn't know I was coming. The first person acted like it was a big deal, and I was worried I wasn't going to have a place to stay, but then a different front desk clerk took over and told me everything was fine. I had to fill out extra paperwork. Additionally, there are some things that you normally get in a rental that aren't included in this one. For example, there aren't any pot holders, which made using the oven interesting. There also wasn't a sponge for hand washing the coffee maker. Improving those 2 things would have made the stay absolutely flawless. However, I loved staying here and would definitely stay again.

Room was not cleaned. Called manager. She called back 1 1/2 after the cleaners showed up. The mattress was worse then a motel 6 bed. Slept on the Murphy bed which was a little better.

Quiet condo complex on the beach

Quiet, directly on the beach without crossing a busy street, and clean sums up this condo. Location is perfect! We saw dolphins while we were also playing in the water. This particular stretch of beach is nice and quiet and not a tourist hot spot like along the seawall. We walked at least 3 miles along the coast each day of our vacation, collecting shells, and visiting with the others who were also walking and/or staying nearby. Highly recommend!

Great location

All is pretty as described. Great location away from the busy center but still quite close to all. Recommend making restaurant reservations for the busy summer. Lamplight district nice as well. Only issue is the bed was soo uncomfortable.
