Lazy Akers Nest-River cabin

Memories are made at this unique family-friendly gathering place next to the Bogue Chitto River in Franklinton ,La. A quiet place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The camp is positioned on 1 acre of land 40 ft from the river. It has 2 bedrooms , a loft and sleeps 10 ppl in beds. Also has a large very comfortable couch and recliner for naps. The large front porch is ideal for morning coffee and afternoon drinks. Ground level is the place to hang out barbque, have seafood boils or just unwind. The 2 picnic tables (16 ft, 6ft) will serve the entire bunch. Our camp also has a childs rope swing, a baby swing, a flow well tank, restroom, kitchen sink with prep area and an outside hot water shower. Summer nights can be spent gazing at the stars on our hammock next to the river or playing an old game of horseshoes. This is an upscale camp/ cabin and has been a special place for many people to make fabulous memories.

The cabin is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and a travel crib.
